I cannot express how much I want to thank Nicko's fish and chips! We were travelling with family, all tired and no one wanted to cook, to be a coeliac and have so much care taken in your order was incredible. The seperately wrapped gluten free food and labelled with the wrapping too put me at ease, as it's always a gamble when you eat out. It was the first time in years that I've been able to enjoy (good) fish and chips and even a potato cake!!!. Not only the care given to the allergy factor, it was a big order and everything was cooked perfectly, the generous chip servings too were impressive as it gets smaller and smaller where ever you go these days! it all tasted amazing, we had takeout and we got it home and it was still fresh and hot and delicious. I literally want to move to Ocean Grove now because it was just really delightful to have such a great take out experience and option. Thankyou...

Just want to drop a few words . I usually don’t leave reviews but I could not resist. I took my family to Nickos fish and chips . Firstly I could not fault any part of our experience. The owner and his staff are very friendly welcoming. The owner even took the time to even have a chat while we were waiting . My dad owned a fish shop years ago what can I say it’s been a very very long time I have come across an authentic fish and chip shop that provides you with fish and chips and burgers with the tastes I experienced growing up . I could not fault our experience from the staff to the quality of the fish and chips and burgers we purchased. If anyone is up there go out of your way and head down it’s worth the drive . We went to Nicko's as a group of six including three with coeliac disease, four who only eat halal and one with various food allergies. The staff member who served us was busy but very friendly and helpful. We were all catered to so well. We were very pleased the gf food was wrapped in paper labeled "gluten free". Three of us had gf fish souvlakis with a large gf chips and we all loved them! The others had regular fish, shared the gf chips and were also very happy. We even had leftover chips. The souvlakis were amazing, with really good quality wraps used. It was such a treat to have coeliac safe food with lots of choices. We'll be back! No photos, we were all heads down,...
