Very cool spot with awesome views across the bay and the heads. We lucked it with a local who gave expert and entertaining commentary. Winner ! Must come back in summer sometime. Excellent walk all the way to Queenscliff too.

Large parking area with the viewing point on the edge of the carpark. Steps down to the beach. This is a good place to view the rip and when the light is right the line between the rough open seas and the relative calm of the bay is very noticeable. The pier reaching out into the waters makes a great photo...

It is a great place to visit as you can view the Lighthouse at the head of Port Phillip Bay and also view the opening of the Bay where the big Ships enter our Bay to visit Melbourne. It is well worth the short walk from the Carpark to view the Lighthouse...
