Since the demise of Kelp in Point Lonsdale, another fantastic environment has been needed for a glass of good wine and delicious modern food. Noble Rot is the local I'd be at a couple of nights a week all year round if I lived here permanently. Thoughtful wine list of local, Australian and imported wines that lean towards the modern or supremely good classical styles. Every selection a winner. And the food from small bites to more substantial plates is spot on and perfectly executed. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff guide the whole experience. Brilliant, and six stars if the extra star existed!

I was visiting from Pokolbin in the hunter valley NSW (wine country) and I was not disappointed the service the venue the food and wine selection is awesome. I would 100% recommend you visit. I will be back on my next trip 👌 Ps. The photo is the head chef and owner I ate the food too quickly to remember to take a photo 😅

Amazing food (Brussel sprouts are crisped to perfection) and extensive selection of wines from local and international varieties. Staff are friendly and helpful, and walk in only means it’s a cute mix of people - just get there early!

The food tasted good but the fries were forgotten and therefore arrived at my table a long time after all the other dishes. The female waitress is lovely but the male waiter (possibly the owner) seemed very rude. I found $50 lying on the floor (clearly dropped by a previous customer who had well and truly left) and rather than keeping it to myself, I thought that the decent thing to do would be to support a local business (especially during the winter where cafes/restaurants in Point Lonsdale tend to struggle). He didn't even thank me. Just had an arrogant look on his face as I placed the $50 into the tip jar. $50 is a very generous tip so I was so shocked by the...

nothing rotten about it !!!!! we had a lovely night here celebrating our friends birthday and our server was an ANGEL and the food was wonderful despite the short staff!!!! unfortunately we don't live in lonsdale but if we did we'd be here everyday. we got such great vibes from this place, it should be a national landmark. shout out to our waitress, we love you, hope you're having a great rest of your night. let us know when you're back in melbourne, we owe you ((:
