South Lake Fish & Chips — Local services in South Lake

I have heard mixed stories..this afternoon at 4.55 pm my partner and I have decided to try what they are about. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes until one of the staff came over to the counter only to answer the phone . 2 minutes had passed and another staff had walked in, obviously to start work... To our surprise she was just about to serve us until the large bloke who stood next to the fridge told her to leave the counter!

What a poor management to say the least .. My partner and I looked at each other with disgust.. Needless to say, we walked out of there and ordered uber eats.

Just had a very disappointing meal for two, I asked what fish is used Basa was the reply, I should have walked out then but we upgraded to snapper, the fish had no taste I feel it was frozen and thawed small serving size, squid rings weren’t battered like the fish no squid flavour so I’m guessing out of a bag pre prepared. chips were ok nothing great and small serving, pineapple fritters were super thin but sweet taste. All in all it tasted not fresh I can cook way better at home and it’s up there in price compares to other places I regularly go to. We definitely...

We went there on Good Friday...because everyone said this the best Fish n Chip around Cockburn..and we bought the Family pack plus some extra like pinneaple fritter..battered sausages....everything cook perfectly and taste so nice not so Oily and the portions wow..so much...their SERVICE is top notch..we will back again for sure..thank you..👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍SORRY i forget to take the pictures of the foods..we went home..open the bag and straight ate it till finish..nothing...
