I recently discovered The Electric Bean Co, and I’m so glad I did. Tucked away in an industrial area near Hammond Road, this café is an absolute gem for locals and workers in the area. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming vibe. The interior is stylish with industrial-chic decor, pendant lighting, and rustic touches that make it feel cosy yet modern.
The service here is top-notch. Staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Even during busy times, they manage to keep things moving efficiently without compromising on friendliness or quality.
The food? Absolutely delicious. The menu is well thought out, offering a good range of brunch staples and hearty meals that hit the spot. I had their signature breakfast wrap and a cappuccino — both were fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Coffee was smooth, perfectly extracted, and topped with creamy froth — clearly made by someone who knows their beans.
The prices are reasonable too, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.
Another big plus is how clean and accessible the venue is — with wheelchair-friendly facilities and ample seating, both indoors and out. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of spots in the surrounding commercial complex.
Overall, The Electric Bean Co is an awesome spot whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee, catching up with a friend, or escaping the office for a peaceful brunch. Definitely one of the best cafés in the area and worth making a detour for if...
Read moreMe and my partner went today for brunch and loved it! Slightly pricey at $55 for the 2 of us, but the food was amazing, the service was incredible, the atmosphere was really warm and cosy. The ladies where friendly and smiling. Could tell they had regular customers who they knew by name and order. If we happen to be area again we will for sure go back. (Jalapeno chicken waffles, shakshuka, green smoothie and a dirty chai with an extra shot. I'm really picky with my chai and...
Read moreVery nice and cozy! Went for a coffee and ended up ordering food too! We got the shak shuka and a ham and cheese croissant. Coffee was amazing And the shak shuka was delisious too. Chorizo was chopped up quite small so you got a bit on every mouthful - only thing is I’d like the egg a bit runny. This one was no longer runny. Not a big cafe so would recommend booking if you need a table but good atmosphere, quick service and friendly staff. Will be...
