2 stars out of 5. Since posting my past review a couple of months ago, sadly Berrigan Bar and Bistro has dramatically gone down hill. Seems like the chef/cook has changed? We went for lunch and were surprised plenty of tables were available. Normally struggle to get a table lunch time on a weekend. The usual lunch time specials were gone however we still placed an order. It took a good 30 minutes for our lunch to be served. The specials meals would generally be served in 15 mintes. This recent visit I ordered the lamb at $32. It was over cooked. Crispy on the outside and certainly not the normal slight pink in the middle my partner was served on our last visit. The hero of the dish was the sauce. My partner had rump steak at $27. The steak was not good quality steak. Uneven in thickness and quite thin in places hence as a result it was unevenly cooked. He asked for medium rare. It was a cross between pink and well done. It is a shame as Berrigan Bar and Bistro used to be a vibrant place. The $15 lunches were excellent value and if not financially viable, just raise the price! At $20 they are still good value and are served way faster. Oh, and no Single Fin either. That's gone too.

5 stars out of 5. August 2020 - Absolutely beautiful food and service. I had the steak sandwich and my partner had the lamb cutlets. Both dishes were most enjoyable. There was also Single Fin on tap. Gorgeous beer. Highly recommend Berrigan Bar and...

We went for dinner there tonight after hearing good reviews and seeing their food posted on Facebook. We ordered the seafood platter for two and the beef nachos without the beef as my husband is vegetarian. Once ordered the wait staff approached us and told me that they were unable to do the nachos without the beef and we would need to order the vegetarian nachos. So we did this, however my husband also has an allergy to beans, so we requested no veggies (wanting cheese, salsa and sour cream). The nachos came out, with the vegetables ....after explaining again to the waitress that my husband was unable to eat this due to allergies and can we please have it without the veg - she took it back to the chef. The chef yelled at this waitress so loud we could hear him, stating that it's not on the menu so he was unable to do it, and stick to what she's been told before. Not only an I disgusted in how the chef treated the wait staff I am disgusted that he could not make nachos without removing an item. Now if it was a premade meal or we were asking for a discount I would understand.....he refused to come out and speak to me personally and the waitress told me that he doesn't handle stress well and can't handle the pressure of the kitchen. This place is incredibly unfriendly in regards to people with allergies or food adversions....let alone people with disabilities. If you or someone in your party have allergies or issues with food, do...

On Saturday night, the 27/03/2021, my husband and I plus 16 adult family members and 5 children came for dinner at the Berrigan Bar and Bistro. What a brilliant night we had. The quality and quantity of food was brilliant, the size of the dishes was out of this world. Compliments to the kitchen staff. The service was amazing and a huge thank you to the lady that served our meals to our table, she was so kind, respectful and extremely hard working, I'd give her a 10/10 for the hard work she put in just for serving our table. She is a hard worker to be admired. The bar staff were amazing, especially Crystal who was so warm and delightful while helping take our orders. My family had a great night and the Berrigan Bar and Bistro is fantastic. Only one complaint, there was a problem having to stand in such a long slow queue to order our drinks was some what frustrating. Over all though, we would rate our night out as a 9/10, great experience. We had the same great time back in early December 2020 but we never reviewed but this time we did and we will definitely be back. Thank you all for making our night so happy and...

Brought family here for our first experience. Ordered the steak, seafood platter for 1 and lamb cutlets. The seafood platter was impressive for the price $35. The meals and 2 starters plus 3 drinks cost $140 and we felt that was a decent price for good sized portions. Tonight was kids eat free night so great for families. I had to try the jelepeno poppers which were $16 for 4. They were actually quite hot and tasted good. Definitely happy to come back again for those. Garlic bread was alright. Overall very happy with the meals and drinks. Service was lovely and there is plenty of space between tables. We were able to reserve a table online early afternoon and parking was easy and close to the premises. We will be coming back to try other dishes on the menu as they had burgers, chicken dishes, pastas and other meat options.

Went here for coffee and lunch. Not much selection for my taste in coffee, however, still serves nice coffee 6/10. The seafood platter for 1 is good for 2 😅 which is great. It comes with grilled fish, w prawn skewers, 2 grilled scallops, and calamari on a bed of chips and salad with a small bowl of chilli mussels on the side. Sizing 10/10, taste 5/10. Was full in the end. 😊 lady who served us was overall nice, although we went there pretty early, around 10:30-10:45, so there was just a different vibe that did not sit well with me. Every day is not the same though! Service on that day, 6.5/10. Overall experience for a quickbite/ brunch/lunch is 6.5/10 😊 We will go back to try other food and drinks on their menu.

Monday night is Steak 🥩 night at this joint!! Rump steak with your choice of sauce, chips and salad for only $17. Awesome value!! Pretty big serve of steak cooked to your likeness/ doneness (medium rare for me) with mushroom 🍄 sauce 😋 The place was packed for a Monday, so advisable to book a Table as you may not get a seat if not. Although it was packed the food came out pretty quick which was pretty impressive. Wash it down with a pint of beer 🍺 and you have a banging dinner that won’t break the bank account. At this price point you can’t complain as anywhere else and it’s usually at least $30. Of course unless your vegetarian which in that case this is not for you 😝
