This is a great train station. I have read some of these reviews and the one in the picture I have placed below this message is completely irrelevant, untrue and it brings up a personal problem which has nothing to do with the train station itself. The station staff there are very nice, and they are there all day making sure the station is clean and everything is safe and running. Now onto the subject of the locked toilets. The only day the stations toilets are closed is on the weekends (which is because the station staff do not work there on that day seeing it is a small station). Anyway there are signs that clearly say that the station office is unattended on the weekends. Also there is more than one set of public toilets right outside the train station so I do not know why this person couldn't use those. This person says they go sick from Sydney Trains but it was their choice not to use the public toilets outside the station (which are open everyday). I will now talk about how this person lost their $500. At the station they do not tell you or transfer you onto other trains. You go to any platform you choose depending on where you want to go. Also when you go to a platform they tell you over the speakers where the train on that platform is going to. They show you on the screens all the stations that train is stopping at. You could look at which direction the came and even if you don't know your North from South, you would be able to tell if it were heading back in the direction that it just came from. Also even if you could not figure out where your train was going from all this you could just ask a person on the platform. All in all this review in the picture below is a complete fake and not one bit of information in it is...

I got surprised after seeing the doors of public toilets closed and then after I tried to search station master but he/she was not there at all.I had emergency to go to toilet but how pathetic is their service. Its funny though.TOTALLLYYY DISAPPOINTED.PUBLIC TOILETS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN NOT CLOSED.I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW AT 12:30 pm SO YOU KNOW THAT TIME WERE OPERATING HOURS AND HOW CAN THEY BE SO IRRESPONSIBLE.I THINK STATION MASTER IS TAKING HIS/HER DUTIES SO CASUALLY AND ON THE OTHER HAND WHY NSW SYDNEY RAILWAYS IS HIRING SUCH PEOPLE.Anyways I GOT SICK BECAUSE OF SYDNEY RAILWAYS and lost my $500 because of the delay in train service at Lidcombe station and from lidcombe station they transferred passengers to another route and then I arrived at berala.NSW Sydney Railways is responsible for the loss of money and time plus I got sick...

Today, I accidentally left my phone on the train, but I was fortunate to encounter two kind individuals who helped me. First, there was Neetu, one of the platform staff, who provided me with valuable assistance when I felt lost. Second, there was Mr. Nice, who found my phone and returned it to me. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to...

To be honest, Berala station is one of the saddest on the Sydney network. It's exposed, wind-swept, bitumen-centric and weed-lined. I'm curious why some stations end up looking much better (e.g. Gymea) than others (e.g. Berala and Kirrawee)? Shouldn't there be a budget so that they all can be spruced up a bit?
