Don't let the collection of European cars fool you, this is a woeful car wash. I ran a car wash for many years, so feel like I can talk with some background on this regarding what is acceptable & what isn't. It also means I understand that sometimes bad light, excessive dirt/grime or just human error means things get missed, which I'm cool with. But the number of things that hadn't been picked-up was just shocking. My car is a Mini, so not a particularly challenging/large car to wash, and it had been cleaned less than 2 weeks prior so wasn't like it was filthy to begin with. But for my $55, this is what I received: Windscreen was dirty (inside & out) Sunroof was left dirty General 'marks' all over the car that would have come off with a simple microfibre cloth & some water (not sap, bugs, or anything hard to remove) Black plastic trim under doors (both sides) left with marks all down them, which tells me they weren't washed Exhaust pipes were filthy and hadn't even been touched Inside mats had been hosed (they're rubber) but the carpets under not touched. Mats weren't put back in properly either, and were left stacked on top of each other in the passenger footwell. Inside surfaces hadn't been touched - shiny surfaces on the doors & dash still had dust & finger marks over them Mirrors not cleaned (inside & out) Pedals still had dirt on them (all of them) so han't been touched Wheels had marks on them (cleaned, but not compeltey done) Door jambs hadn't been wiped down
I seriously thought is was a joke for a moment and was waiting for someone to pop out with a camera. What a complete waste of money. I'd honestly rather have left it dirty and gone somewhere else...
Read moreI usually clean my own car, i was in hurry and against my better i judgement a decided to try this place, big mistake. It was quiet , I let them talk me into some $99 wash and shine, it was rubbish, a total rip off.1) The car goes into a machine and gets wet.2) They spray some blue water on the car which appears to be only blue water with no cleaning properties.3) Three guys all wearing normal clothes with belts, buttons, rings and wrist watches start to wipe my car, what the hell? This is basic car wash 101, wear soft clothing so you don't scratch the car, my five year knows that.4)One guy wiping had his mobile in one hand watching a video and wiping with the other hand, not even looking at the car, just wow .5)The filthy cloths they use to wipe the cars are not changed after each car, they just pick up any old cloth lying about, always a sign if you're dealing with professionals and not stooges .6)When i got home i checked my car, boot lid, pillars and others areas, they all came up black and dirty when i ran my finger over them, inside was not vacuumed to any great standard. During my visit, there was a little angry guy, maybe the boss, running around screaming about palm trees or something in front of customers. As mention in other posts here, visit a real car wash to see how it is done at...
Read moreactually wish i’d read these reviews before going in here to get my car washed. parked my car in the parking area (had no idea about a queue system) and not one staff member approached me to see if i needed help. walked in to the cafe and asked the staff member there who to speak to about getting my car washed and she just pointed to the staff outside. helpful. so i walk back outside and approach a staff member (hmm are you the one i speak to?!?! i’m so lost here!), then was only offered the $55 inside and out option and told to go pay inside. paid, sat down in the cafe and watched as two other cars who came in after me were sent straight to the wash while mine was still in the parking area. wait. isn’t there a queuing system??? got a notification on my phone that the car was ready so i walked out and the staff member (or manager i believe) just pointed at my car and annoyingly grunted that it’s ready. wow. very unfriendly, unprofessional service. and on top of that, drove home only to find that the car isn’t very clean at all. this isn’t even worth one star! crystal car wash, teach your staff how to be friendly, welcoming, professional. oh and maybe teach them how to properly...
