Originally left a 5 star review - quality of meat is great however after purchasing a bulk amount of meat for a family gathering it was realised that it was all contaminated with bread crumbs from another product. Besides the obvious cross-contamination, I am allergic to gluten and couldn’t eat any of the $200 worth of meat that was purchased. Its very hard to go past a good local butcher. I'm not quite local, but gladly drive. I've been going to Elvy's for more more than 10 years!

If I know what I want, I'll call John and order anything special. Flavour of the month is Bill Granger's roast rolled pork loin with pear chutney. John will trim, score, roll and tie the loin, so its looking perfect when I arrive.

Walked in by chance after visiting a nursery directly across the road and bought some lemon and parsley crumbed chicken and omg its so beautiful.
