First time visiting this cafe and will be the last, not a great experience. Went as a work outing with some consumers with disability as they are unable to access the community independently. We had a group of 12 with 10 ordering coffee and or food.
Service was unpleasant at every turn, so much resistance. We wanted to sit outside and the waitress tried to make us sit inside but I advised we would prefer to sit outside. She was frustrated as some of the tables and chairs were wet from the rain and clearly didn’t want to wipe them down for us. I explained the dynamics of our group and that we preferred to sit outside together as we were waiting on 2 others to join who were purchasing some food elsewhere.
We all eventually sat down and we were then advised that the two people with external food were not permitted to sit with us. As this was a group outing with various consumers with disabilities we could not have them sit elsewhere and manage a safe care ratio. People with disabilities already face such discrimination and this was incredibly frustrating as someone works with people who just want access to the same basic rights as everyone else.
I decided to speak to the manager who eventually allowed us all to stay as a group but asked that the external food packaging be removed and their food be placed on a plate. We adhered to their requests but it was not a welcoming experience and definitely had an impact of the consumers self esteem which was the exact opposite of the purpose of our outing.
I can appreciate, as the manager stated, ‘they have an image to uphold with what others see at their cafe’ but at the expense of what? The possibility of someone thinking their establishment was not quality because there was a disabled person eating a subway sandwich because that was their preference for the one time they had access to some form of personal choice and autonomy?
Disappointing to say the least.
As for my food, worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever had (this would have been the same review despite the treatment), eggs were poached to hard boiled, bread was soggy, I didn’t even finish it. The only thing that was good was the bacon, it was crispy as requested.
I’m sure this review won’t matter to you that we won’t be returning as people with disabilities are clearly not the cliental you are after. But perhaps some empathy and kindness might be the next seasonal thing to add...
Read moreNormally a great place to dine. We come here regularly but tonight was a disaster. It started when they bought out our entrees and food at the same time. (We were not asked about this when taking our order). We questioned this when the food was presented to us, but were told "well they made it at the same time". Ummm..no- you eat your entrees first and then you eat the main. The table We were sitting at didn't even fit all of the food anyway so we were not sure how this would have worked. We sent back the mains at this stage. Once we completed our entrees and we were ready to eat our mains, they forgot to clear our plates before they put our food down. The waiter struggled to put the food down on the table as obviously it had not been cleared. 🤦♀️ The organisation was just not there. The mains we originally sent back were given back to us- meaning that the pasta was now luke warm and soggy. The pizza cheese was hard (yuck), the pizza base had gone soggy and the pizza wasn't even cut up! I've never been served a pizza that hasn't been cut into slices. Look, we did complain and i must admit that management handled it well and our South American waitress was lovely and apologised for the muck around. We were compensated for the food, however what was supposed to be a nice night turned out to be a big disappointment. Let me ask you- do you eat your entrees and mains together? If so, would you eat the food on a table not big enough for the food? Where on earth were we supposed to fit all of the plates? Just because your kitchen didn't plan their time accordingly, does not give you the right to put our cooked food under your heating lights whilst we ate our entrees. Doing this for that length of time ruined our food completely. I must say it tasted awful. My husband is always quiet and doesn't cause a fuss but even he said his pasta was disgusting. My pizza and my dads pizza was soft and soggy (and not cut up) and my mum didn't eat at all as it just wasn't appetising.
Thank you to management and the South American waitress for your kind acknowledgement and apologies but this cannot happen when customers are paying up to $40 for a seafood pizza. We work hard for our money, therefore expect an equal exchange in food.

Read morefter a long morning at the hospital with my Uncle (87) and Aunt (81), my uncle turned to me and asked if I could take them to the best local restaurant in the Concord area. It was almost 2pm—right on the edge of when most restaurant kitchens start to close—so I was a bit worried we’d be out of luck. Then I remembered Organica.
I’d been there once before, late last year, and had a great experience, so I took a chance and headed straight there. To our delight, not only was the kitchen still open, but we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere the moment we stepped inside. The staff had such positive, cheerful energy—it instantly lifted all our spirits.
We were seated promptly, and from start to finish, the service was outstanding. Our server Lulu was attentive, kind, and patient—especially appreciated when dining with older family members who sometimes take a little longer to decide. The menu had a wonderful variety, with options for every dietary need and preference. Whether you're in the mood for something hearty, light, vegan, or gluten-free, they’ve got it covered.
Our meals arrived quickly and were beautifully presented. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful—clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous, but not overwhelming.
The highlight? Dessert. Their cakes are to die for. Each one is freshly made on site, and you can truly taste the difference. We each ordered a slice of different cakes and tasted them among the table—every bite was better than the last. Even my uncle, who never eats dessert, couldn’t resist and finished every crumb of his berry cheesecake. That’s saying something!
All in all, Organica turned what could’ve been a stressful, tiring afternoon into a relaxing, joyful meal shared with loved ones. It’s a place that cares not just about the food, but about the people they serve. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike. We’ll...
