Absolutely disgusted with what I experience tonight and going by the recent reviews, I'm definitely not the only one.

We all arrived between 7pm - 7:20pm. When we sat down we ordered wine first which took half an hour to come, it wasn't until my brother stopped someone to ask what the go was. The white wine came out first and then still had to wait for the red. All we asked for was 2 bottles of wine and 5 empty glasses ... My brother and sister in law ordered a tequila shot and sambuca shot and the bartender put the lemon ontop of the sambuca shot instead of the tequila shot so each other had the opposite drink. Bartender had 1 job and couldn't even do that. After another 20 minutes of waiting we caught the waiters attention to order our entree and because of how long they were taking we decided to order our mains with it. We also ordered the kids food which was spaghetti Napoletana and spaghetti and meatballs and after 5 minutes of ordering those 2 dishes came out and then our grilled octopus. We couldn't understand why it was so quick but we shrugged it off. Grilled octopus was disgusting with no flavour and no lemon and we asked specifically for it to be crispy and it was almost like it just got caught and warmed by a microwave and placed on the plate. It was soft with no crisp. My dad being a certified chef and who used to own a seafood restaurant was absolutely shocked. The zucchini fritters were mushy and thats not even the worst part .. the kids pasta was 100% canned pasta with canned sauce (i will be happy for them to show me camera footage of them proving me otherwise). Im italian and I know canned pasta when I taste it. It had no salt so my neice had to pour cheese on it. When we asked the waiter for cheese, she just threw it on the table (at this point we hadn't even complained yet so i dont know what her problem was). My neice after eating her meatballs and spitting it out she started projectile vomiting (shes only 4 years old). She was in the toilet for 15 minutes non stop vomiting and when we saw the meatball it was just gristle and fat, not even proper meat. At this point we had enough and told the waiter what happened and she didnt seem interested and called the manager over so we explained to him what happened and to cancel the mains and we wont be paying for anything but the drinks. (Mind you, that was a nice thing we did when they should have said don't pay for anything). This was the first time we ate here but we only came here because my brother and sister in law ate here last year and the food was amazing but this definitely was the last and I WISH I had told people beforehand where we were going becsuse I've had so many people on my social media telling me how bad this place is.

What I've written here is just in a short form because there was so much more that went wrong with how bad the service was but for me the main issue was my neice instantly sick after eating a Quarter of her meal. A little kid could die from something like this so the fact they played it off like it was nothing was disgusting. (Wasn't so much the manager but more the other girl staff members).

The only reason I could think of as to why they are still open is because they only have locals come around and the people there haven't eaten proper Italian food.

RESPONDING BACK TO RESPONSE.

I will be emailing my response back as the response received was nothing but lies. How disgusting as owners to feel they have the...

This was our second time at the restaurant to celebrate my mumโ€™s 78th birthday. First time was an enjoyable experience. But today, very disappointing. Ordered a Nazionale beer which was delicious, but had to return as there was a massive chip on the rim of the glass. We ordered two pizzas for the kids, pumpkin ravioli, scampi risotto with squid ink, beef carpaccio, chips and broccolini. For a reason which the waiter/manager said he couldnโ€™t explain, the two pizzas came out after we had almost finished the other dishes. No apology, just an expression which was unwelcoming and frustrated. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious along with the perfectly cooked broccolini. However, the scampi was undercooked and impossible to peel. In fact the tail was very sharp and I couldnโ€™t understand why the prawns were peeled and not the scampi or at least make the tail meat more accessible. Upon raising this issue of the undercooked scampi and the non appearance of the pizzas, the waiter tried to make up for this by pouring me another beer, nice gesture, but again the glass had two chips on the rim. Two times served chipped glasses is really careless attention to detail.

Eventually they served us another scampi risotto which we took as take away because we had already finished eating, and when we went to pay the bill, one waiter didnโ€™t charge us for 1 beer, nice gesture, but this annoyed the other waiter who vented his frustration by asking what is happening and dropping the efpos machine loudly on the counter.

Sadly, for around $170, for three adults and three children, we left disappointed feeling like the restaurant didnโ€™t really care about making us feel welcome or special.

Happy for the restaurant manager to contact...

I have been here numerous times first few times it was amazing , the food, the service the drinks and the Italian accents. Last couple of times food was not generous two people ordered the carbonara only one came with mozzarella scooped by waiter and the other person just got the pre prepared from kitchen dish. Still nice โ€ฆ. So we returned and omg Thursday night service was awful. The manager, I think, a bald headed guy was rude unfriendly and served up a warm martini and no olive as they ran out. I said no problem donโ€™t need the olives but martini has to be chilled. Waiter takes it back and it returns still warm so I let manager know as he was the one next to us cleaning a table and he looked very unimpressed that I was dissatisfied a second time. He rudely tells me they donโ€™t chill their glasses or the spirit. I said ok well every time Iโ€™ve ordered here itโ€™s been amazing and very chilled and one of the best and tonight this is not, please take it back and Iโ€™ll just order a wine. He tried to get me to agree to him putting the whole thing in freezer and when I said thatโ€™s ok just the wine he was rude and rolled his eyes.

Meals came , he was abrupt placing them on table and he never returned and certainly never apologized or even checked if all was ok. Clearly my simple request offended him. The carbonara servings were very scanty and certainly no scooped mozzarella from the cheese drum and nothing special.

After going there many times I donโ€™t think I will...

POOR customer service!!! Waited around for like 5 minutes or so. The restaurant wasn't even busy when we arrived but no one greeted us or showed us to a table. It didn't seem like they cared about their customers at all nor their staff. Half of the time they were seen arguing with each other in front of the customers. Not very a good look. Bad service, bad team work!! Once we were seated...someone (manager?) came by to take our orders but as soon as we said something...he rudely ignored us and decided to answer his phone calls (one after another). I think drive through at Maccas would have better customer service than this place!! Really enjoyed their mussel dish (special menu for the night). This dish was served with a delicious tomato sauce in a nice soft edible bowl made from pizza dough. Also, ordered their squid ink risotto (scampi, scallops and prawns). The scampi was very fresh. Not sure what happened to the prawns but it was crazily salty. I only had two and couldn't finish the rest. And once again...back to the service level here. The waiter did ask how our food was and just we opened our mouths to answer...he walked away and started making a conversation with another customer. Clearly poor communication and listening skills!!!

My family (wife & 7yo son) decided to dine out at the last minute and decided on Fratelli & Co. as we'd never been there before (despite living in the area for 15 years). Our waiter (we're so sorry we didn't get your name) from Calabria was fantastic right from the start. Attentive without being overbearing, charasmatic and switched on when it comes to the menu. We ordered Pane e Olive Miste (fresh baked bread and Sicilian olives) and the Octopus with Potatoes & Artichokes. Both were delicious and came out very quickly. As did the kid's meal of Calamari. It's really nice when the restaurant understands that kids need their meal ASAP. Mains were Spaghetti alla Carbonara (served in a cheese wheel) and Paccheri con Guanciale di Manzo al Sugo di Chianti (short pasta and beef cheek in a tomato sauce). Both were delicious. We were even serenaded by our waiter while he was serving the pasta in the cheese wheel. Throughout the night, our waiter (again I feel bad for not catching his name) suggested Italian wines to pair with the food. Sicilian & Abruzzo... all were delicious. We'll definitely be back! Our waiter made tonight such a great meal.

For me, this was rather a Mhhh experience. However, all my other 3 guest enjoyed their meals. The Fratelli calzone had garlic prawns in it, which were raw... the pumpkin ravioli were jumbo size, and there was far too much pasta and not enough pumpkin, and as for the burnt butter sage sauce, it was just melted butter drowning all the ravioli. The tube pasta with beef cheeks in sauce was not to my liking, and the mussels were not that great. Now I did mention that all my other guest really enjoyed their food. I certainly didn't enjoy any of the dishes, and the waiters were all very nice and friendly. I did start to get a little annoyed at the guy at the front who greeted you very nicely. However, he was very pushy in asking you if you wanted several other things and kept adding until I kept saying no thank you.. would I go back ๐Ÿค” no. But my other guest will...
