Forestway Shopping Centre — Local services in Sydney

Shopping centre was ok to get your groceries, going to your bank, get a haircut, getting some McDonald’s, Chargrill Charlie’s, or any other cafes or anything you’re after.

However, one thing I’m very concerned about is the old lady with the glasses on and blue eyes at the newsagents. I was getting a Daily Telegraph paper, went to the counter she stared at me for a moment or two, I left the coins on the counter desk and she puts her hand out, just like that. Although I could’ve give her the coins to her hand, she just sighed heavily as she took the coins on the counter table.

She took the coins and gave me the change and she did the same thing to me. No ‘thank you’ from her whatsoever. No manners either.

I also think whenever she sees me, she doesn’t like any of my looks or whatever I wear or my facial emotions.

I might not go back at the newsagents again if that lady continues on with her behaviour like that or in any bad way. Her behaviour depends on a different person so please take note about her when you walk in the newsagents store. You’ll might as well...

I like Banana Blossom and frequently visit Warringah Mall.

This new franchise at Forestway is settling in and I’d expect it to take time to come up to the same standard as the Mall. Current work on’s needed:

speed of service. 15 mins is too long for a sit down quantity of food looks to be way less than I’m used to presentation of food doesn’t appear to be on par with the Mall staff familiarity with their service and business looks to need to be sharpened

I guess the franchisers need to help and support this business through its teething stages. I like the concept and enjoy the food regularly and would like to see the business excel. Good luck.

UPDATE: I have returned several times later, after it being newly opened, and the standard is on par with the Mall now, so I’ve upgraded my review from...

The arrogant old woman with long bleached blonde hair has a mouth like a sewer. The EFTPOS card reader is on such a short cord and cant be tilted which means its difficult to read with out having to tilt it...I tilted trying to see what I was doing only to be chastised by this monster. I reacted to her atrociously bad customer service and foul language which she escalated it to a screaming match...I declinded to follow through with my purchase and asked for a refund and she started hurling more abuse...darling get back on your meds!
