Pappa Flock - Frenchs Forest — Restaurant in Sydney

Major disappointment on a frequent basis. Inconsistent serving size.

I've been a regular customer for over a year and I've noticed a consistent trend that the serving size has gotten a little bit smaller every time. The tenders used to be a on average 6 inches some up to 8inches and they would happily give an extra tender if some where on the small side to make up for it. Today I ordered the 5 piece box (mighty box) and got 4 pieces none longer than my index finger under 3 inches.

In plain english I did not get what I paid for, maybe half of what I paid for. This isn't a one off, this trend has been developing for the last year but now it's gone too far, it's unacceptable.

It's hard to give it a comparission because it may be the best fried chicken I've had it's new and bold in flavour. The 'flock' sauce complents the range of spices used wonderfully. Very tasty lemonade that is sweet but balanced by a satisfying sour. even the seasoning on the chips shows they want each piece of your meal to be it's best.

I was quite excited to try out Pappa Flock, I'm a fan of fried chicken, and I'm glad that this store is local to me. Ordering online was simple, I decided to get the OG Box, which is $21.90. I got my food that was left unattended in the pickup area. Upon collecting, I noticed it was quite flimsy lacking any tape to keep the lid closed. But once I opened it, I was kinda disappointed about what was inside. There was no signature sauce and no coleslaw in the box, I'll admit that I got my food before closing, so it was mostly inevitable to run out of certain items, but to spend over $20 and get a mediocre box in return is a little unacceptable. On a positive note, the chips are well seasoned and crunchy. The chicken is pretty good, its tender, a little chewy, slightly crispy, and also well seasoned. The bread was buttered but kinda shoved in and a bit disappointing, and my drink of coke Zero was alright. Overall, my first impression leaves more to be desired, I will try again but I'm expecting...
