Hi Kathrin,

A quick note to advise that my beautiful Vintage French Butchers Block and Vintage Wooden Weaving Stick arrived safely this afternoon and in perfect condition. I couldn’t believe it when the courier pulled up at my front gates and said he had a parcel from Water Tiger. I wasn’t expecting it for another few days.

I have literally just finished unpacking the box and found the weaving stick taped to the side. Thank you for including it with the Butchers Block - I appreciate you doing that.

When the courier arrived and I saw the size of the box I thought you had removed the legs! It’s much smaller than I had pictured in my mind (even though I did measure it out before placing my order). Having said that it is exactly how I hoped it would be and I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect size for my original intended use. It's such a versatile size - much more so than the huge antique butchers blocks that become available from time to time. I have had so many ideas as to how and where I can use it - I’m very excited for the possibilities.

Thank you also for choosing such a beautiful Vintage Wooden Weaving Stick for me. I had put a note on the order asking if possible to have a darker timber - again it’s the perfect wood tone and complements my other vintage/antique pieces beautifully (I couldn’t have chosen a better one myself). Imagine the stories these pieces could tell if only they could talk?

Kathrin you have such a good eye and impeccable taste. I honestly don’t know how you could part with such beautiful pieces. I’ve been very fortunate to find a few gorgeous pieces on your website and they now form part of my very eclectic global collection. I would love to have a business such as yours but I know I would want to keep everything for myself!

I bought what I was told was a wooden chest from India. How the person in the street would know if this is really legit I don't know. A week later a front panel fell off it. Not that Water Tiger, or the manageress Cathie cared when I phoned. About 3 months later the lid clean broke off!!! Very disappointed!!!
