Rocketboy Pizza Randwick — Restaurant in Sydney

As much as I enjoy the food, tonight was quite possibly the worst service I have ever received.

After finishing work late, I ordered 2 pizzas and a salad online on the way home expecting to be able to have dinner shortly after getting home. Instead, it took 1.5 hours to have a pizza delivered from a shop 1km away.

What was more aggravating was that after an hour waiting I called the shop and was told the order was leaving the shop now - somehow it took 20minutes to complete a 4minute drive after 8pm mid-week in a suburban area.

Staff on the phone were also not able to tell me if certain toppings/sauces contained gluten, surprising given that they heavily advertise their gluten free bases which was the main reason we chose RB (I was dining with a coeliac friend). The lack of knowledge of product appears to be a training problem throughout the company as i did try to check other stores and they also could not answer and it is not listed on their website.

Not sure I will be ordering from here again, given they are unable to advice on dietary requirements or provide reasonable service. There was nothing convenient about...

I am always sorry when I have to write a review like this but I at least I hope I can help other ppl. Just got a rocket boy pizza. Had a few in the past and we use to like it. Anyway, pizza is ready. On the way home I smell anchovies, weird I think, there are no anchovies in that pizza. Anyway. Got home, eat a couple of slices with my partner when she point out the prosciutto. That was the awful smell. Rotten meat. Prosciutto was way off. Put the prosciutto in a container and walk back to the shop. I give it to someone there and I explain that the prosciutto was way off. That they should have a look at the stock so not to make ppl sick. I explain I had to trow away the pizza. She apologise. But doesn't offer a refund or at least another pizza. Not even sure she got my point. Anyway, got back home a bit disappointed to find out my partner already vomited. It's a mattet of minutes and it's my turn. My partner is still vomiting now. So we'll, maybe think twice before going Rocket boy. Me, not gonna...

An absolute disaster of a service and a food quality received! 2x XL pizzas ordered (prawns too not just basics) with misleading delivery time, waited 1.5hrs on Saturday after 6pm, having being told it would take 20min or so. Had to call to follow up on order and asked myself (not offered by staff) to be given something as a side freebie due to an incorrect info, the manager Rajiv agreed on a garden salad. As it arrived I was totally appauled that someone can call that a 'freshly made salad'! It was soggy, brown, old and definitely not freshly put together!! Photos taken as a proof. Won't be ordering there again. Feel like I need to be reimbursed for the pizzas. Shame on you...
