The first time I visited this place I was served by 2 gentleman. Very happy with the service and the quality but this second I visited oh my god…

I bought drumsticks and pork belly. The man grabbed the pork belly from the display fridge for me but the drumsticks he grabbed it from lowered shelve behind the counter. All good I did not say anything.

I came home open the bag, pork belly was great, nice and fresh. But the chicken drumsticks were really off and the colour does not look like the ones that I saw in the displayed fridge and does not smell good at all.

Decided to return the drumsticks and keep the pork belly because it’s fine but when I came back and try to explain nicely why I wasn’t happy about it. The 2 persons that served me seem like the owners of the shop went off at me for being unreasonable and does not want to return the money to me. They were being so rude and said ‘you don’t know anything about meat, nothing is wrong’ and the lady kept pushing the bag towards me, hold the drumsticks up on my face and force me to smell it… She kept repeating this action inappropriately…That was just crude!

After a while of explaining myself that I only would like to return the drumsticks and keep the pork belly so clearly I’m not trying to create any drama here. They finally stop being so rude, disrespectful and returned the money.

I didn’t even get the full amount and would never ever come...

I recently visited this butchery store and had an extremely disappointing experience. I was served by an older man who seems to be the owner. I specifically requested 500 grams of porterhouse steak, and he assured me he would cut it fresh for me. However, he gave me 750 grams instead, dismissively saying, "It's slightly over."

When I pointed out that 250 grams more is not "slightly" over and asked him to cut it down to the amount I requested, he outright refused, saying that they "don't do that here." Instead, he kept insisting that the beef was of high quality and that I’d surely return.

This is not acceptable service. Misleading customers and ignoring their specific requests is not how you run a business. It felt like a blatant attempt to upsell rather than provide good customer service. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this store.

I will not be coming back, and I strongly advise others to think twice before shopping here. Respect for customers and honesty should be the foundation of any business, and sadly, this...

Young guy in there, butcher? Not sure. I asked him if he had flank (or hindquater), but triangular, with the layer of fat - and he said “you mean picanha”, as to educate me. I replied, no, I mean vacío, to which he replied “it’s the same thing”.

Buddy, you’re young and I’ll forgive you but if you’re going to bluff your way through life as a butcher, at least have the stars on your shoulder to prove your rank.

They’re not the same thing in any way shape or form: so be humble and let your customers share what they know.
