Went there for brunch on a sunny and hot sunday. The brunch buffet was ok, a bit crowded, food was good, but the service not so much.
Since it was a hot day, I wanted a bigger glass for my water instead of the small ones from the buffet (it's just more comfortable to get a bigger glass in summer instead of having to run to the buffet multiple times just to refill it with water) So I asked the waitress if it was possible to get a large glass. She said it was not possible to give me a bigger glass because otherwise everyone else would want one (or order a large tap water?) and they don't have enoug large sized glasses for everyone (uhm ok?) and that's just included in the buffet so that's what I get.
If it's the policy then I kind of understand this, but just from the customer standpoint it's really unflexible and not rational. I'm already paying for the buffet which includes the water there, I'm just asking for a bigger glass so I don't have to get up and refill my glass every 5 minutes (in summer). The glasses provided at the buffet are really small, like the small ones you get when you order coffee, so...
Read moreThe food deserves 5 stars, but... No english menu, the waiter, who knew that we didn't understand German, didn't bother to help us with any of the dishes. We asked for a vegan dish, and his reply was that there was only one - a sandwich. After reading ourselves the menu (With Google translate's help) we saw that there was a few more vegan dishes, and he was just too lazy to tell us about them. It happened again when we asked for the dessert menu. He threw the menu on the table, opened it in the wrong page, and left. Another big disappointment was to find out at the end of dinner that they only recieved cash. As tourists on their last day in Vienna, we didn't have enough cash, so we were told (with a very unpleasant tone) to go and get the cash from the ATM . I expect a waiter at least to be nice and kind. This restaurant has a lot of potential, it's a pity that the...
Read moreMy friend and I came for the brunch, which includes buffet, one hot drink and one glass of Prosecco or beer (plus non-alcoholic alternatives) and costs 29€. The buffet includes a variety of salads, two warm main dishes as well as crepes, and a variety of cheese and ham. The waiter also did some rounds were he offered scrambled and soft-boiled eggs. There were only two kinds of bread, and I would have preferred to have some more options. Since I'm a little bit picky in this regard, I noticed that not all plates as well as the cutlery were perfectly clean, which was the biggest minus for me personally. Besides I should mention that the food was very fresh and got replaced several times. All in all it's definitely a nice option for brunch, also the staff was really really friendly but you should not expect...
