Frituur 't walpleintje — Local services in Bruges

Today we were there last time and will never come back!!. We used to eat here at least 2 times a week, but now the prices grow up. But this is not a problem, problem is the fact that they allows himself to add some incomprehensible amounts sometimes. Today we were here for the last time. A lady worked instead of the owner, I ordered food and Jeffe bruin, she counted everything and I paid with a card. After that, the lady brought me a blond Jeffe!!, saying that they don't have bruin( in menu they have)!! But I don’t drink blond at all, why wasn’t I warned before paying??? Outrageous! She refused to return the money, because the beer she already open. She didn't even apologize for not letting me know. Horror service!! We liked that place really, but after all that small and big problems We will never go there again!! Fortunately we found another place- in front of this Frituur almost, with many tables outside, the prices are the same and the menu is similar, but the service is much better, and no extra costs, and the waiters speak English very polite. So, we don't recommend this Frituur for sure, but if you decide to visit them, please, count very exactly how much you have to pay, otherwise they will give you more bill then you order, unfortunately that happened many times with us, but because the rest we liked, we didn't make a...

Plus: The staff was kind and friendly. I could use an elecrtic outlet to charge my battery which is a big plus.

Needs improvement: I do not recommend the meatballs as it is at the moment. The price was very high (10,5 EUR) for the value what I have received. The portion was small (3 balls and a salad) and the meat had plastic particles. Waffles had a spray cream on top and the dough...

Ik ben zeer teleurgesteld in de ervaring die ik had bij deze snackbar. De werknemers waren ronduit onaardig en leken totaal niet geïnteresseerd in het helpen van klanten. Hun houding was negatief en ze waren verre van klantvriendelijk.

Om het nog erger te maken, was de staat van de badkamer verschrikkelijk. Het leek meer op een openbaar toilet dan op een fatsoenlijke plek om je handen te wassen. En alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, waren de kroketten zo soggy dat het leek alsof ze al een tijdje in een plas vet hadden gelegen. Het feit dat ze maar één minuut in de frituur waren geweest, bevestigt alleen maar mijn vermoeden dat ze totaal geen aandacht besteden aan de kwaliteit van hun producten.

Wat betreft de friet, het was duidelijk dat ze gewoon uit de diepvries werden gehaald. Ze waren smakeloos en hadden nauwelijks een goudbruin kleurtje. En alsof dat nog niet erg genoeg was, kreeg ik ook nog eens amper mayonaise bovenop mijn frietjes.

Al met al, deze snackbar heeft een lange weg te gaan voordat ze zelfs maar in de buurt komen van acceptabele service en kwaliteit. Ik zal hier zeker niet terugkeren en zou het niemand aanraden om hun geld hier...
