A fantastic Belgian restaurant in Brugge! We had an amazing carbonnade, rich and flavorful, perfect for a cozy meal by the fireplace. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax. They welcomed us with a free soup and chips, which was a nice touch. The Belgian beer selection is excellent, and they also offer non-alcoholic cocktails with Nona, a great option for those not drinking. We also tried the pasta, which was a bit overcooked, but since it’s not their specialty, it’s understandable. Overall, a lovely experience! Don’t forget to call and make a reservation, especially during lunch time. They also have a terrace and they serve food during the whole day.

What can I say.... We wanted a seat to have a beer after a long day and to feed my 13 month old (a waffle that I purchased around the corner). I was ordering drinks (and would have had a few) but I was told by the most rude man I have met in all my travels "madam you cannot picnic here". Picnic? I had no blanket ... I didn't have a sausage roll 🤣! I'll take my money elsewhere, I do not expect this when I am fully prepared to spend my money in an establishment. Anyway I went to the bar next door where they were happy for my baby to eat a waffle whilst me and daddy had a drink!

This restaurant serves traditional Belgian cuisine. The Flemish beef stew was tender and tasty. The vol-au-vent, it was tasty but had loads of white sauce, in my opinion it made the dish quite heavy. The restaurant is located in a tourist area, but when we visited, managed to get a table easily. The staff were friendly, but they were busy with the customers sitting outside and kind of forgot about us, that were the only ones sitting inside. Recommended

We came in and sat down and even though the place was mostly empty, it still took the older, blond waitress over 10 minutes to come say hello. She saw us, but was chatting very casually to someone behind the cash register. Finally, she came over, and I asked if I could have a beer, a soup, and some frites--they didn't have the beer I wanted, the frites only came as a side (so it wasn't possible to order them apparently) and the only soup they had was meat based. Now this alone wouldn't have been a problem but this waitress was straight up rude, and uphelpful. My sister leanded forward and whispered "its obvious she is not interested in serving us, no love losted... Let's get out of here." so we did. I would...

Visit on WED 25OCT at 4PM. For 2 coffees we had to pay a bit more over 5 Euro. I gave 50 Euro plus 2 euro for tip and remaining over 5 Euro for easy change. The Blond lady of a 35 to 40 years old gave me quickly 15 euro back and left in a hurry. I had to call her back saying the change was not correct. Immediately she took out my 50 Euro saying she thought it was a note of 20. She then gave me 20 Euro more. As we were standing already to leave since we had an appointment, I left with the money in my hand. Only few minutes later I again realized she gave me 10 euro short again. Too late to return. So I want to highlihgt that if you visit this establishment count your RETURN MONEY..THEIR IS A...

Atmosphere was good sitting outside in the beautiful weather. We were a family of 6 and received service relatively quick. There seemed to be a miss understanding in the language as we asked for Coke Zero and they brought Pepsi Max. For food we ordered the Fillet, Scampi, Salmon and Pesto Pasta. The Fillet was underwhelming in presentation and the pepper sauce left a lot to be desired. The Filet was very tender and tasted good. The Salmon and the scampi were good as well and nice size portion. Favorite meal had to be the Pesto Pasta though.

I would recommend this place if you have tried other places in the area and are looking for something new. I would not recommend it as a first...
