Really disappointed with the customer service here!! Was visiting Cape Breton with my family and saw "Main street cafe" on Google maps. Went online and placed an order for 7 people. After a few minutes I realized that I had placed my order with this restaurant, not the one in Cape Breton. Immediately I called Main Street Cafe to cancel my order. Nobody answered the phone. My husband also tried on his phone and no answer. There was no way to cancel my order that I just placed. Obviously I wasn't going to drive a few hours to pick it up. Upon returning home, I noticed my credit card was charge for the meal. I tried to dispute with my credit card company but they said the restaurant is refusing a refund. So incredibly frustrating considering I attempted to call more than once and nobody picked up the phone. What kind of establishment doesn't answer phone calls during business hours??? Also what kind of business charges a customer when no product or service was given?...
Read moreWalked in and instantly you could tell it was extremely disorganized. Firstly they showed us to a table which was very big and way too big for 2. Constantly ignored by the waitress and never checked in on us once. Had go get up and place our order because they didn't come and take our order. We waited about 45 minutes and no food showed up and nobody checked in on us. We stood up and asked about the wait. We found out our order was not placed. We finally placed our order and the food finally came after an hour of waiting. Personally, my favourite breakfast ever is eggs benedict, which is what i ordered. When it was served to me, I couldn't be more upset what was served to me. Small portion of food, and the hollandaise sauce had really no flavour to it. Also had to ask for sugar and cream for my coffee constantly considering they didn't bring it when I asked. Overall probably the worse breakfast...

Not this day though. I placed an online order to be prepared for 12:30 pm. I was admittedly a little late, arriving to pick up my meal at 12:42. When I arrived there were three waitresses at the till, one of which asked if they could help. I told them my name and order, so which all three dispersed without saying a word, and me left extremely confused. After 7 long and awkward minutes someone showed up with my order, and I left. Back at my destination, I open my lunch to find uncooked fries (some are still frozen in the middle, and the flatbread to look completely different and have a soggy texture compared to the ones Ive ordered in the previously).
Hopefully just a very off day and not the beginning of a new pattern for this...
