Lemonberry — Local services in Aurora

I have been shopping at Lemonberry for years. I think it’s unfortunate that another reviewer provided such a poor opinion of Lemonberry based on his admitted cursory knowledge of this store. One of the reasons I choose to shop at Lemonberry, besides supporting a small business, is the owner’s efforts to provide locally sourced products as much as possible and to promote Canadian labels. I receive her newsletters and follow her IG feed and have never seen Lemonberry outright claim to be a store selling only sustainable items. Personally, I think it’s commendable that Lemonberry is trying to transition more fully to an Eco-conscious store. It would be great if more businesses thought that way and I think businesses such as Lemonberry should be supported for their efforts rather than criticized. As for the quality of the garments, I have 3 Soia and Kyo jackets I purchased about 7 years ago - one winter jacket and 2 fall ones. They are still in great condition and I still get complimented on them. I think the onus is not only on businesses to provide quality garments but on the consumer’s mindset to take care of their items so that they last. Lemonberry has been my go to local boutique for many years! The actual space is laid out beautifully with style and gorgeous decor. Clothes selected and displayed are always current, on trend and appeal to the fashion conscious woman. Lisa the owner has fantastic interactions with her customers and always provides this little “extras” like save $50 off your purchase this weekend or the “Twelve days of Christmas...just to name a few. I love going into Lemonberry seeing what’s new, trying on a few pieces and listening to style advice from Tanya or Lisa. Love this beautiful boutique in Aurora!
