Absolutely terrible customer service from the franchise owner, Namrata, who called me cheap over a free cone promotion.
I would rate this experience ZERO, if it was an option.
Today was Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen. I called this location ahead of time to confirm they were participatingâthey said yes, just download the app. I did exactly that, drove over, and asked at the drive-thru how to redeem it. I didnât receive a coupon in the app, and when I mentioned that, the owner, Namrata, came to the window repeating, âNo coupon, no cone.â
When I tried to explain, I had called earlier. She talked over me, then claimed I never called, then that it was a missed call. She tried troubleshooting the app herself and couldnât get it to work, then told me the coupon would arrive in 24 hours after the promotion would already be over.
When I expressed my frustration, she started raising her voice, told me to leave, and shockingly called me cheap multiple times in front of staff and customers. She even compared me to âthe youth in the store,â announced I was banned, and threatened to call the policeâall because I calmly stood my ground for what was advertised.
Eventually, she brought a vanilla cone in a cup. When I asked for it, chocolate-dipped (which costs $1), she snapped, âWhy didnât you say so?â After I offered to pay, she shouted, âKeep your money. Donât come back!â
This all took over 10 minutes at the drive-through window and backed up the drive-thru. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the owner. I later found out others had similar issues with the app.
Save your time and dignityâgo to the Financial Drive location instead. Only go here for freebies, don't give them your $. I've been going to this location for years, but after this experience I will not go back.
I will be reporting this matter to DQ...
Read moreI recently visited this location and was thoroughly disappointed with the customer service. The fridge containing the cakes was locked, restricting customers from viewing the products closely. When I inquired about a specific cake, wanting to know if it was kosher and to read the ingredients, the interaction with the front desk staff member was far from satisfactory.
The staff member appeared uninterested in assisting and lacked knowledge about the products, especially regarding my query about the cakes being kosher. When I pointed out a cake to inspect the ingredients, she opened the fridge reluctantly. However, instead of handing me the cake to read the label myself, she insisted on holding it. This approach not only made me feel suspected of possibly trying to steal, but it also hindered my ability to properly examine the product. After I finished reading the ingredients, the staff member quickly took the cake back and put in the fridge and also locked the fridge door dismissively mentioning that every cake has different ingredients, and then locked the fridge.
Overall, the experience was marred by a lack of customer-friendly practices and a seemingly rude attitude...
Read moreGood evening, my two friends and I visited this location at around 5:30 today one of my friends had ordered a medium twisty misty. After we got the drink, we went to the pizza depot and got a slice of pizza. We came back to eat the pizza since there was a thunderstorm outside with a bunch of lightning and it was pouring rain! Then I decided to order some soft serve ice cream. Before I could order, one of the workers told us to exit in a rude tone because we had "outside food" with no consideration about the bad weather conditions outside. We felt deeply disrespected but even then decided to still place my order for the ice cream. When I went up to the counter, the lady walked away from me!! Then another worker came up to me and told us to leave again, before I could order, even while she could visibly see that we getting ready go outside in the rainstorm. She stared us down with a lot of attitude until we left the building to stand in the pouring rain. Very bad customer service and no empathy towards their customers. Will never be...
