Oishii Tea — Restaurant in Brampton

Their tea is delicious and it's a pretty popular place for bubble tea in Brampton. However, their customer service is poor. I forgot to order tapioca in my drink which I understand is my fault. Usually the person at the cashier asks you what toppings you want, but this one I guess was a bit shy and forgot to ask. So I went back in line to order some.

I was told that I could not buy tapioca on the side.

I was also told that they couldn't just add tapioca in my cup, even if I had still not opened it, because apparently it's against their "policy". I was going to pay for the tapioca, so I didn't understand what the problem was.

This was also after the person at the cash checked with the Supervisor several times if I could buy tapioca on the side or buy it to add to my drink. It was not an online order. I am not an Uber or Skip the Dishes driver tampering with someone's order. Really disappointed that an exception could not be made for something so small. What is bubble tea without tapioca? I couldn't even enjoy the drink I paid for, might as well just bought iced tea in a can. I was basically told, you didn't order tapioca, too bad too sad, nothing we can do for you, we don't care if you will pay for it now, it's too late! Anyways lesson learned that the staff here work like robots and even the Supervisor can't make reasonable decisions when they get asked something that is sooo out of the ordinary apparently. Tried them for the first time and got the Rose Milk Tea with tapioca and cheese foam. With the 25% off opening discount a regular came out to about $6.50. The drink was really good - the perfect blend of tea flavour, rose flavour, and milkiness. 100% was the perfect level of sweetness, lightly sweet. Their cheese foam is really good too - salty, cheesy, and slightly sweet. My only gripe is their tapioca - some were overcooked and super mushy, but still pretty good so I won’t dock a star for it. Also, their service was great. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They asked if I needed help choosing and told me how long it’d take to make the drink too. 2 minutes (the store was empty). I’ve never been told how long it’d take for a drink, so that was pretty nice and above par service!

I would definitely go back to try their other flavours. I’m eyeing the polar oreo drink, brown sugar milk tea, and the coffee milk tea. I live in Mississauga but anytime I’m in Brampton I’ll be stopping by here :)

I always get taro slushy bubble tea everywhere I go, and this was by far the best I ever had. If I ever rated one 10/10, then this was 11/10. It was natural! I had a few small chunks of taro in my slushy. I put my drink in the car and waited about 10 minutes and finally when I took a sip, the pearls were still warm 😍😋 and soooooo fresh and delicious. I got the regular sugar amount which was perfect, it was not too sweet at all. Also it’s hard to find taro bubble tea with no dairy but I could have theirs. Definitely worth every penny, I would recommend and I will definitely return

2024 I returned !! I have MORE amazing to add to my review cuz I got more bubble teas. They were AS GOOD as last time. I got one taro coco slush to go and the NEXT DAY I opened it up (24 hours after it was made) and I was pleasantly surprised. I shook it up and the flavour was so nice, still tasted fresh, and the bubbles were surprisingly soft! I have had old bubble the next day at other places and they usually turn hard.
