Terrible experience! Up until two weeks ago, my husband and I were regular customers of this place. But about two weeks ago, I went there around 6:20pm on a weekday, and gave a takeout order. While they were preparing the order, I was asked to wait and I did so sitting in the restaurant and bear in mind, it takes them a while to prepare. When the order was ready, I still decided to wait inside as my husband went to pray to the mosque across from this place. Now because I had the food with me. I started nibbling on the pakoras that I had purchased from this store itself, along with the tea. The woman serving me came out to me and said, “ the takeout prices are different than eating in. My boss is watching us through camera and she might just call anytime. You have to leave” this was said to me verbatim while the entire store was EMPTY. Not a single customer was eating inside. I didn’t use their utensils or any of their in store eat in services NOR did I bring food from outside. I was astounded at the fact that this woman knew us and served me and my husband couple of times before with our take out order. I didn’t understand the point of asking a regular customer who RARELY ever ate in this store to leave while they were just waiting for someone. It was insulting to say the least and because I didn’t have the keys to my car, I had to wait outside until my husband returned. This was downright disgusting. We have been avoiding this place ever since that incident. I’m not sure if this incident was a result of the fact that I wear a hijab, nonetheless, I’d recommend to avoid this restaurant. Would have given 0 stars if possible, literally worst experience, ordered mithayi came home found stuff missing + other 2 items extremely sweet and right away called them and went back, as soon as we reached lady approaches us, we explain her the issue, her- no apologies Nothing straight away spitting facts that how well renowned there mithai is and cannot taste unsatisfactory, asked them to exchange for barfi, tasted barfi again way too sweet, not satisfied to buy anything else asked for refund. Lady’s tone was already discourteous and now she is only ready for store credit. Told her we are not buying anything here in future from this store and any kind of credit is futile plus the way we are treated is uncalled for. Not to forget this lady is owners wife. Owner spoke to us over call/speaker just justifying himself didn’t listen to the word we said. Lady on the other hand tells us that store credit is enough as item is not going back on shelf ???? I mean really?? What is more important than a customer? At the end asked her to make us speak with owner again as last time he wouldn’t listen to us. Lady tells the other girl to give refund now. (Girl who gave refund is very sweet, calm, understanding and knows better how to treat a customer) God bless the employees that work here. Suggestions-1) Be kind to the customers who are respectable to you especially after you mess up their order & they have to run back & forth to your store. 2) Ask your chef to keep it light on amount of sugar they use on mithai. Poor customer services . I went on this last sunday on Diwali day and I waited in queue for 10 - 15 minutes. When my turn came I gave her ordered and the girl was quite annoying. Lack of patience, communication and customer service. I understand its was a busy day but I patiently waited for my turn but when I already gave her my ordered in between she said could you wait on the side because another guy waiting from long time. I didn’t say anything and let him come before me then again I waited for her that she will address me ,but she ignored. On the top when I told her Could you please charge for my food because I don’t wanna wait anymore as I already was in my queue then Another girl beside her told me you are not the only one waiting here , then I got frustrated and argued with her . It was special day so I ignored her and left outside . I was not meant to say anything bad about her but she was so frustrated and making mouth in front of other customers that she did not hesitate to say these kind of words to someone. Specifically if she is working in customer service job then she should know in advance that it gonna be a busy place and she has to be work accordingly.

When I came inside again for pickup my ordered then same girl she gave me wrong order . Again I came back all the way from my house to return it . Then she saw me and send another girl on the counter and went inside because she knew what she did.

But definitely I am not going anymore here and will give a review about this restaurant to my friends and...
