Okay so I've been on a reviewing spree lately, partly because it hit me that people normally only write reviews after bad experiences. Got me thinking of all the placed I've consistently enjoyed.
This Tim Hortons location is one of them. Been going here for around six years. I've yet to have one bad experience... Well, once they forgot to give me a chipotle sauce with my order but that isn't even a big deal. Easily rectifiable... and that's once in six years!! For a location this busy, and staff that doesn't really have to care this much, isn't it awesome?
Customer service is the BEST compared to any other Timmie's around. Yes they don't know my name, but I don't know theirs either, and they still recognize my face and greet me warmly. Orders are always taken efficiently, whether drive through or in-store, and goodies handed to me with a smile and proper greeting. It's fun to pull up to the window and see their smile as they recognize you.
Sad to see negative reviews about this place. I guess even this location has off days, but never experienced it myself.
To the staff, I would say: thank you for the MANY years of great coffee, sandwiches, and pastries. I hope people give you the respect you deserve and smile when placing their orders. That matters too. Don't know why people forget.
To the owner, I would say: cherish your wonderful staff. You are lucky to have some of the best employees.
Disclaimer: I'm not related to anyone at this store, neither am I getting anything out of this review. I frankly, honestly, sincerely mean every word of my glowing review. Sorry, not sorry...
Read moreA few days ago, I had a highly disappointing experience at Tim Hortons. I ordered an Everything Bagel toasted with EXTRA butter, but instead, I received a Maple Bacon Bagel BELT. As a vegetarian, this mistake was particularly upsetting. When I returned to address the issue, one of the female workers rudely commented in Punjabi to another, "LEH AGYA E," meaning "OH LOOK, HE'S BACK." This unprofessional and offensive behavior was shocking.
The situation worsened when the same worker, who eventually remade my order, handed it to me with a sarcastic and rude tone, saying, "THIS IS YOUR EVERYTHING BAGEL, THANK YOU." It was clear she had no regard for basic customer service manners.
I’ve seen many videos all over the internet about Tim Hortons staff misbehaving, especially the female workers, many of whom are Punjabi. They often seem to think they are superior and treat customers with disdain. This recurring issue highlights a broader problem with the attitude and professionalism of some Tim Hortons employees.
Tim Hortons should consider hiring individuals who actually enjoy their job and treat customers with respect and a smile. The lack of attention to detail and poor customer care is disappointing and makes it easy to see why people might have a negative opinion about the service at...
Read moreThis location rarely seems to get your order right. This is exactly what I said when placing my order this morning. A medium coffee, two milk two sugar, a breakfast sandwich, just egg on a biscuit with chipotle sauce. When the lady who was making the sandwiches said here is your egg and cheese with chipotle sauce on a biscuit. I said that is not what I ordered. I said my order is just egg on a biscuit with chipotle sauce. Jagdeep, the guy who took my order seems annoyed that he got my order wrong, instead of apologizing he stands there and started to arguing with me about my order. Telling me I did not say no cheese. Next time I must say no cheese. I said why should I when I am specifically telling you what I want. Omg what does it mean when someone says “ breakfast sandwich, just egg on a biscuit with chipotle sauce.” This guy still continues to argue. I even said why don’t you serve the other customers instead of arguing with me. He still continues to do so until the customer behind me explains it to him that I didn’t have to say no cheese. Jagdeep is so stubborn he still mumbles to the gentleman that I should’ve said no cheese. Listening, learning to comprehend and understanding should be basic skills when applying to...
