The Source:
To all future consumers, I would not recommend trusting everything the source tells you as well as how much they really feel and treat their customers. I have had a very bad experience with the source and will never give my business to them again. I bought my ps4 5 days ago, when I first got it they said they would price match and price match bundle if a better deal came up at another store. The next day Walmart was not giving another game with it but discounted the game and ps4 to reflect the same price that I paid. They were going to price match but Walmart was out of stock. I then went into the source on the 19th of December, 5 days after I purchased my ps4, as bestbuy was having a sale where they took $130 off the ps4 bundle with the final fantasy game. So I went to the store showed them the promotion and they said they could not price match. I do not get that as they said they would in the first place as to the reason I bout my ps4 at that time, if they would not have price matched I would have not bought or opened my ps4 and returned it to get the exact same bundle with an extra game for the exact same price. I have also had issues when purchasing my ps4, as the manager of the store would not honor the $25 discount code from the e-mail. He said “it was a gift card you got in the mail” and he couldn’t do anything about it. So I called customer support and they said he was wrong to go back to the store for the discount. How is this manager working ethically when he is trying to not give me the discount on purpose? I then called head office the day after I went into the source, I told them my situation and tried to get the price match of the final fantasy game, the girl did not give me her name, but asked if I would like to hold to talk to a manager, I said yes after about 2 minutes she said a manger would call me back by 1:00PM I gave her my name and number, at 1:30Pm I called the office and said I have not heard from anyone, I was asked to give my name and number again. I did not hear from them and I don’t think I would have. The last deal of the bestbuy was on this date. I then called the next morning. I explained my situation to another gentleman and he asked the managers if he could do anything and they said no. I do not blame the customer service rep, but as a company how can you not hold your stores to their standards and how can you say one thing then because I’m a customer already and I have no choice to back out you say “too bad”? I thought and hoped the service at the source would be...
Read moreI got the portable charger on June 2023, (HELIX PWRBNK 16), recently it is not working as it does not charge my phone properly.
Luckily I got the 2-year warranty, so I went to the Source shop with my receipt to got claim, and the retail guy told me that I didn’t need to come, the only thing to do is the phone the number on my receipt, and they would send me a label, and I gonna send the product with the label through Canada Post, the team gonna looked it up, they either gonna fix it for me or they gonna send me a new one if they cannot fix it.
Which I did later on June 5th, Wednesday, and the guy on the phone told me the same story, which was nice, but he told me they gonna confirm with manufacture and put the product information into the system, which eventually would take some time, and if they did not phone me back on Friday, I gonna need to call them back.
In which I did since they didn’t call me back after that. But the second call on next week I made ( on June 11, Tuesday) disappointed me: they said they only gonna take it back, but they neither gonna fix it nor send me a new one, but they just gonna reimburse me the price of the charger I bought, which was 44.99 CAD, but I paid 65.23 at the time of the purchase, (item + 2-year warranty + tax).
I was pretty mad since the crew and team tell me two different stories and rejected their own statements in very short time. And I am not getting a full reimbursements .
So for people who’s gonna buy warranty at source, please be advised the solution they provide might not be what...
Read moreToday I visited this place to buy iPhone 16 and was disappointed to see the bad attitude by one of staff of this store. Sales Consultant Amrinder along with his colleague were firstly was not interested to assist me and my friends and initially argued with his colleague that he does not want to and this was literally right in front of us. Upon inquiring with him for iPhone 16 pro , he was forcing us to buy the phone on lease which we were not looking for. We wanted to buy the phone outright, but he kept insisting on lease option, and when we said that we want to buy outright, he later said that it's not available in stock. It was disappointing to see his rude behavior and bad attitude towards customers coming with a very clear purchase as planned. Is Best Buy only interested to sell phones on lease ? If yes, there's a way to communicate or inform customers, rather than being rude and showing bad attitude as if they just want the customer to leave the store. This store doesnt even deserve 1 star. I understand stores are looking to make more money during peak period, but does it mean you'll can leave a bad experience...
