Young Artists' Place is such a beautiful little studio! I found it by accident, just searching for art classes for my son, and am so glad that I did... he has been taking one-on-one sketching lessons with Haley for the past year, and he absolutely loves it. He has learned a lot about light and shading and composition, and he is very proud of his accomplishments. Both Janice and Haley are very supportive and encouraging, and also great when it comes to accommodating our sometimes erratic schedules. A grandson just turning 13 years-old was showing an interest in drawing and we asked if he'd like to take a few art classes. He said yes but only for pen and pencil sketching. We chose private lessons as the best introduction and booked a series of five with Haley of Young Artists' Place. The boy is pleased. He has completed two one-hour lessons and looks forward to the remainder. Perhaps more importantly, he is practicing at home and is picking up his art kit without directions or reminders.
