Indian Aroma Halal Grocery Store — Local services in Calgary

Extremely disappointed with their service.

We visited the store today and an older man approached me while I was attempting to enter an aisle and basically told me that I had messed up the floor he just cleaned and didn't want me to shop in that area. How on earth is a customer supposed to get what they need if they aren't allowed into an area in the store? And what a terrible way to deal with a customer by showing displeasure and clearly not wanting us there as if we were a nuisance. We ended up leaving everything behind. We can take our business elsewhere if this establishment has no clue on how to deal with customers. Maybe the store needs to be closed during cleaning if customers are not welcome. Utterly ridiculous..

Basic customer service and respect seem...

I went into the store for the first time, and the guy working there told us to leave if we weren’t going to buy anything — and we had barely been inside for a minute. We didn’t even get a chance to look at anything before he rudely told us to leave. He had just finished mopping the floor, and for context, it was raining outside, so I understand being concerned about the floor getting wet. But the way he treated all three of us was extremely inconsiderate and hostile. I would not recommend going here, and I will definitely never be back after being treated like that. I hope whoever was working that day learns how to treat people with basic respect instead of kicking them out just because they don’t want the floor to get...
