this was the best movie going experience ive had in a while, and i do my best not to put that lightly. from staff to experience personally it was all A's across the board; the staff were very much engaged with us and exuded movie lover personalities, a young gent by adin was more than happy to give us 110 percent of his attention when answering any question, from ticketing and pricing, to their own personal opinions on movies. i think thats really special, to have staff engaged and love what they do. its a rare thing and i consider myself lucky we decided to go here out of the blue.
we didnt come on a particularly busy day but i can trust that the staff know exactly how to make a movie going experience feel right for everyone, from maintaining theatre etiquette to making you feel at home.
this is the definition of a hidden gem, we felt a little let down with how eloras changed for a more tourist destination (which we understand is how the world works) but this theatre made our day tenfold.
if you dont stop by whenever you can, you are doing yourself a disservice. i myself, have agreed that even if im an hour out. i wouldnt mind driving out to see a movie im really excited about.
thanks and i wish the folks here...

The feature this week was Downton Abbey, but they didn’t just show the film—they went all out. The front entrance and alley of the theatre was dressed with furniture and accoutrements fitting of the period, and they even offered champagne and biscuits to set the mood.
We made a day of it, with a picnic in the nearby park beforehand and ice cream after. What an absolutely wonderful afternoon in a town that lives up to...
Read moreBring cash! Everything about this place is perfect. It’s tiny, the walls are flagstone, the seats are old, but oddly comfortable. The movie quality is shockingly great on an updated perfectly sized screen though and the sound is really good. The entry point never fails to make us grin with delight, and the guy calculates your totals in his head (I’ll say again, bring cash!) So, so, so quaint. Hand popped popcorn in small batches with olive oil. Beer and wine! Eco-friendly straws! We buy single liquorice sticks mostly because it’s hilarious. Nothing else offers this type of atmosphere. We love it so much we drive over an hour from a nearby busy city with a Cineplex just to watch...
