A Blissful Café Experience at Café, Elora, ON!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Café on Mill Street West in Elora, ON, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm ambiance and friendly smiles. Here are five reasons why I would highly recommend Café:

Heavenly Croissants: The croissants at Café are a true work of art. They are flaky, buttery, and baked to perfection. Each bite is a heavenly experience, and whether you prefer a classic plain croissant or one filled with delectable ingredients like chocolate or almond, you won't be disappointed. They pair wonderfully with a cup of hot coffee!

Delicious Bagels: If you're a bagel enthusiast, Café is a must-visit. Their bagels are fresh, chewy, and bursting with flavor. From the traditional plain and sesame seed varieties to the more adventurous options like everything or cinnamon raisin, there's something to suit every taste. The generous selection of spreads and toppings only adds to the enjoyment.

Outstanding Coffee: Café takes their coffee seriously, and it shows in every sip. The aroma, the flavor, and the quality are unparalleled. Whether you prefer a robust espresso, a velvety cappuccino, or a creamy latte, their baristas are skilled at crafting the perfect cup of coffee. The beans are expertly sourced, resulting in a rich and satisfying brew.

Charming Atmosphere: The ambiance at Café is inviting and cozy. The comfortable seating, warm lighting, and tasteful decor create a welcoming environment that encourages relaxation and conversation. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet moment alone, or even working remotely, Café provides a charming space to unwind.

Friendly Service: The staff at Café are friendly, attentive, and passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure that your experience is enjoyable. From offering recommendations to providing quick service with a smile, their hospitality adds an extra touch of warmth to the entire visit.

In conclusion, Café on Mill Street West in Elora, ON, is a haven for croissant lovers, bagel enthusiasts, and coffee connoisseurs. With their heavenly pastries, delightful bagels, and exceptional coffee, this café has exceeded my expectations. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service only enhance the overall experience. I highly recommend Café to anyone seeking a memorable and satisfying breakfast or coffee break. I can't wait to return for more delightful treats and...

Edit: I have updated my review and star rating after the owner of the café reached out to me. She explained that items like croissants, bagels, and scones are made fresh every day. The best part is that she has created her own recipes for these baked goods. The staff is well-informed about when other items are delivered and know exactly when to remove them from the shelves. I am very impressed with the owner’s customer service. Although I have not tried any of the baked goods yet, I am confident that they must be delicious.

We drove all the way from downtown Toronto. We chose this bakery based on the reviews plus on the website it mentions that they carry freshly baked muffins, scones and etc.

However, to our dissapointment we found out that nothing is baked fresh and they are getting everything delivered from another facility

I inquired the girl at the counter if she knows when the baked items were delivered, she replied she doesn't know and she doesn't even know when the facility who bake the items baked them. So my question is when they have no idea about the date when items were baked, how are they ensuring the freshness? How do they know when they should remove the specific item from the shelf if they don't even know the date when it was made.

We did purchase few items but i didnt try them. I just didn't feel comfortable.

I feel very misleading. They should not mention on their website "saying freshly made muffins, scones, and etc". They don't even know when the items sitting in shelf were made and since when they have been sitting there and how long they will keep there.

A huge dissapointment! I was under the impression that cafes in Elora would have some especiality in baked good, but I feel I had very high...

We wanted to visit Lost and Found cafe. I am a coffee lover and I try to taste different coffees around the world.

I loved the vibe. Ambiance is amazing. I wish they can be little more nicer while taking orders but I understand they were busy so just wanted to finish with the order.

Great coffee machine, La Marzocco, my favorite one. The coffee was medium roast arabica if I am not wrong.

I asked the server about difference between Flat white and Cortado and she explained well.

I went with Flat White. And it was a good choice since I like my coffee with little more milk and little latte art.

Overall great coffee and experience. However, spending almost $6 for a small cup of coffee should feel little more worth.

I wish the shot (she mentioned its a double shot) but I doubt it was around 13g coffee shot. So no matter single or double, it will not feel strong.

As per my experience, whenever I try proper authentic specialty cafe, then their flat white or even latte seems little more intense and strong. You can feel the color.

But this one was light. Seems like it could be even lesser than 13g. Or may be coffee grinder was not dialed correctly.

But, for people who don't mind strongness and just want to enjoy great ambiance and vibe, should definitely try them.

I wish their coffee was worth going again especially for me as I prefer a particular coffee style which is not hard to find these days with authentic and specialty...

Cute cafe in Elora’s main downtown location. Right in the heart of their tourist spot around many other shops so it is very accessible. Street parking is available however there is nearby parking as well about 2-4 mins walk. We got the sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and cucumbers and tomatoes. You can tell with the first bite that the bagels were fresh. They added a very good amount of veggies and cream cheese which is nice as the cost of this is not cheap at all — however that is given as it’s a tourist spot. I would definitely come back for the food alone but the service was just as great. Very friendly and checked in with us a few times. It was really good weather so we got sit outside and enjoy the weather along with the Halloween setup.
