I have been to the Cafe Creperie of Elora on prior occasions and the crepes were always exceptional, the service a tad slow but reasonable for the limited staff. Yesterday, after telling friends of the great crepes, I took them to Cafe Creperie to share the experience. After being seated for several minutes our orders were taken and the owner (current) whose name escapes me, followed up with some complimentary beverages and apologies for the delay in our food order, this was about 25 minutes after our arrival. Approximately 50 minutes after our arrival he returned with more beverages, apologizing for the delay. About an hour and twenty minutes later we had still not been served and with two very hungry children in our party becoming very anxious, I asked our waitress why our food had not been served. She said she would check on the order, but did not return. After waiting another 10 minutes and seeing that customers who had arrived long after us were being served, we decided to leave. As we were leaving, I approached the waitress and expressed my displeasure, the cook was also present at this time and he advised they had lost the order. This was even more upsetting as no one had even returned to our table to tell us this, I think it was quite obvious that we were waiting...patiently. A real disappointment for all of us to say the least. I understand this business is in the process of being sold, I hope the new owners understand that the quality of both the food and the service are paramount in making this type of...

Stopped in Friday morning for a crepe. Ordered a crepe and an americano. Went outside to sit. At the time we ordered there was 1 couple sitting outside on the patio awaiting their food and 1 couple inside eating. The Americano came out within a few minutes. It was hot, but tasted like just plain old coffee.. not what I expect from an Americano. Anyways, then the long wait started... 1/2 an hour passed waiting for the food.

Finally I went inside to get a refund on the food figuring they forgot us. The girl at the counter said it's coming right out. It came out about 3 minutes later. The server said right after your order came in an 8 crepe take out order was placed so we had to do that. Speechless! I'm in the hospitality industry.

The crepe was good, the service, the decision to screw the customer sitting at a table for the takeaway order. That was a bad decision. I won't be back, and as you can see, I'm letting others know about the terrible customer service. There are lots of other places in Elora for me to spend my money next...

We decided to visit Elora on Canada Day. It is a beautiful town. We were going to visit a different restaurant nearby but the line was so long so we pivoted and came for the crepes. Luckily there was an empty table when we came so we don't have to wait. As the name suggests it serves coffee and crepes. They also serve wine and some alcoholic beverages. We ordered the ratatouille crepes but they were sold out so we swap to the veggie crepes. We also ordered iced latte and ice coffee. The latte was fine, nothing spectacular, could be better. But I do enjoy the crepes. The batter has a strong egg taste which I love. Has an aromatic taste to it. They also wrapped it well with a few layers of mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes with balsamic vinegarette. It's one of the better crepes I've had in a while. Overall its a good alternative lunch option in Elora if you want to avoid the long lines in other popular restaurants in the area. They could amp up the AC a bit more. It's a bit warm in a small space...

Café Crêperie is a must-try when you’re in Elora! The service is top-notch, and the selection of crêpes is simply outstanding. Every bite was absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favor and go—it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

Today was a bit of a miss for me. I've been here once in the past and it left a lasting impression that I had to return the next time I visited. The crepe was so soft that it needed to be cooked a bit longer. We ordered 3 different kinds. The Ratatouille, Scandinavian and the Nutella and Fruit. The Ratatouille was good but seemed to miss something. Perhaps a bit more tomato or squash? Scandinavian was my favourite and loved the capers giving it that extra bit of saltiness that I enjoy. And then we ended with the Nutella and Fruit. Is it possible to have too much Nutella? I didn't think so, but sadly it happened. It overpowered the fruit. Going to stick with the lemon and sugar next time. This definitely would have been better if the crepe was also cooked a little longer. We washed it all down with a flat white and cappuccino which was ok. Nothing special but this isn't a coffee house. It was quite busy today and perhaps the rush affected the cooking time.
