Terrible, Terrible Service. Work With Another Company. Our agent took us to one house only. She arrived late (also late to the inspection) and, upon entering the house, answered her phone and said: 'Look upstairs while I take this call'. She never came upstairs, spent about 15 minutes looking at the rest of the house with us, then told us we should jump on this opportunity. She never pointed out the horrible, shoddy workmanship throughout the house. When she did offer information about possible improvements (put a window here, move the kitchen there), there was no mention of how many tens of thousands of dollars those renovations would cost. My husband and I take full responsibility for the final decision of buying this house. There was no gun to my head. But, because I placed my trust in the agent, assumed she had our best interests in mind and would educate us (that's part of her pitch), I am currently living in, compared to my previous residence, a dump. I'm not one to complain, but feel it is important to share our terrible treatment by Ocean Pacific Realty to help others have a more positive house buying experience. Don't risk it. Work with...

Unfortunately, my experience with Alia was deeply disappointing. From the beginning, there was a clear lack of initiative, communication, and follow-through. I expected a professional who would be proactive, knowledgeable, and invested in helping me navigate the process—but instead, I got the bare minimum. Appointments were missed or rescheduled last minute. Questions about listings or the buying process were often ignored or answered vaguely, leaving me to do most of the research myself. At open houses she barely engaged, offered no insights, and sometimes didn’t even bother showing up. It felt like I was doing the work of both buyer and agent.

When it came time for negotiation, there was no strategy, no advocacy, and no urgency. I had to push every step of the way, and in the end, I felt more like an inconvenience than a client.

Buying or selling a home is a major decision …..especially in BC. You deserve someone who takes that seriously. Sadly, that was not my experience here. I wouldn’t recommend Remax Comox branch or Alia V to anyone looking for reliable or competent real...
