Was extremely racially profile by an elderly employee there. I went to do my check out and I had a few bags with me from a other store..there was several persons there with other bags from various stores. But that employee demanded to see in my bags..there is no signs affixed that cmr are not allowed to enter with bags and if they do they will be subject to check. I was single out because of my race and was told yes it was because I am of different ethnicity that's why. The employees was very blunt and rude in there racial profile against me. Sobeys is my local store but I won't be going there anymore. I was also told by the employees they don't care and its because of my ethnicity that's my I had that experience of Racial Profiling. I have shop at others store before and enter those stores with bag from other store and was never asked to check my bags. I had my recept from the other stores also. But Sobeys is worst store ever no customer service,very unprofessional and they made that clear by admitting in to me. I would never advised other people from different race to go at Sobeys on Wyse Road because they will be automatically seen as a theif by the employees there especially the elderly lady at the self check out. Read moreThe absolutely worst customer service I've ever recieved in my entire life by the manager on April 19 at 8pm. Wouldn't/reluctant on helping with a complicated return/rescan. Between a first day employee and a overwhelmed cashier. I wanted my 1000 points for spending over 75$ and I came shy by 0.99$ so I added a couple chocolate bars and still never got my points.
I asked for help to show me what I was doing wrong, she said "I don't know, you're "sobeys app" must be different". (Same from playstore). The manager than aggressively told me to move out of the way and than grabbed my bags and physically moved them without my consent. To make room for the next customer. Without fully helping or resolving my issue. I wasn't able to buy the meat for my ingredients I bought at your store. So now I may starve for a while. Her and her associate who followed her around seemed to think this was funny..
Honestly the worst customer experience of my life. I only went there for juice and because I was in a good mood I decided to shop a little and earn some point.. I received 5/1000 I had intended to recieve.

Read moreI had to file a complaint today with the manager about the floor walker. I left my cart for 2 minutes while I went to another aisle to grab something and when I came back to get the cart, the floor walker had taken my cart and then returned everything I bought back to the shelves. I could understand if the cart had been left for a while but it was literally 2 minutes. I confronted the floor walker who admitted he did it, but no apology, no ownership on his part, he couldn’t understand why this was frustrating for a paying customer. He just walked away from me while I was talking to him like I didn’t matter. I shop at this store multiple times a week, and this same floor walker follows me around and watches me with his beady eyes. The only reason I didn’t give a 1 star review is because the manager seemed to understand and said they would talk to the floorwalker.
