Kabayan is our go-to grocery joint for everything Filipino. The only reason it's 4/5 is because the Dartmouth store is too cramped & small, and the price point is too high sometimes. For example, the Kopiko Blanca in Atlantic Superstore is priced at $8 while Kabayan was selling the same product at $13 (Aug 2022). I think they need to make sure their prices are competitive before Superstore in Barrington Street runs them out...

My wife is from the Philippines .. She absolutely loves this market. She cooks authentic Philippina dishes. Where other stores don't cary her specialty ingredients. Wonderful people working there. Friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this store.. They also have another store in Bedford. Enjoy cooking some new...
