Physical ice and boards renovation was done well. It's a little too bright in there. The stands aren't as good because you sit too low. Should have put them up higher as they were previously.
The major issue in this building was never the ice and stands though. The major issue was always the dressing rooms and common areas. I'm not sure what genius thought it was best to spend the money on the rink side, but if they had asked the people who use it, they would have said spend the money on those areas instead.
The common area is far too small and is crazy crowded before and after games. The dressing rooms are tiny. Even little kid teams don't fit in them. Also, they don't have showers, which makes them unusable by...

Skating was a very pleasurable experience as the arena was not saturated with other skaters as is found at times at other popular arenas. Over the duration of the hour, the amount of degradation in the ice was small, and I was able to keep control of my skates throughout the whole hour which is not possible at other more widely used arenas.
