Five Guys — Restaurant in Edmonton

This been our “go to” Five Guys ever since it opened. Great service, consistent food taste and quality…until yesterday. I hate to say the Little Bacon Burger was the worst I have had from this or any other Five Guys locations. The bun was dry! I was told it is toasted and therefore it dries put the bread. I understand that toasting will do that to some extent, but not to the point that the first bite was like biting into a salad crouton. The burger was over cooked where it was dry and tasteless; like McDonalds. Had to have a drink to wash it down. All in all a very disappointing dining experience. The photo is taken the following day. Will be trashed. What a shame after spending over $50 on burgers...

Consistent place to get a reliably tasty burger if you're willing to spend a bit more than a standard fast food fare. You get what you pay for here, though, with a pretty expansive toppings list at no extra charge, and enough fries to enjoy at the time of eating and as an air fried snack again a few hours later. You can always count on friendly and quick service here, whether you order in person or call ahead for pick up. Free peanuts to snack on while you wait. Recommend the cajun fry over the regular but the regular is not bad by any means. Put some jalapeños on your burger next time you stop in and thank me later. Absolutely amazing food! They cook the beef patties in peanut oil, same with the fries, and it's godly. It's slightly more pricey for a fast food restaurant, around $9 for a double patty bacon cheeseburger, but it's more than worth it. When you order fries they put the fries in your bag, than dump another scoop of fries into the bag. A small fries is like a McDonald's large size. They also have complimentary peanuts to eat while you wait. On top of all that, they have a wide variety of toppings, all of which cost nothing extra.
