Don't be fooled by bogus reviews. I actually have 3 TV boxes from UPR and their product and service is first rate. I read another review of this company on Google and have no idea what he's talking about. The pricing for these are very reasonable and it has nothing to do with electrical usage. It has to do with the on-board updating.

Any box set-up that uses Kodi will require reprogramming. The addons (apps) only self-update as long as they are supported. But the addons always change or stop working. That's why you need to reprogram your box. (and good luck getting it done for $10 by someone who knows what they're doing). Its a lot of tedious mucking around and I don't have the time or interest in doing it myself.

I have been using these boxes for over 6 months and the onboard updater has been used quite a few times. All I have to do is press a button and wait 6 - 7 minutes and it's done. No fees to pay, no time to waste, no taking my boxes somewhere .... done. Its like getting a new box each time. WELL worth the money in the long run.

I agree you should research. But a cheaper price doesn't always get you a better deal. This company has lots of info on their website and is also very well regarded by their customers...

What a joke! This guy is charging over $200 for boxes that cost less than half that! When I asked him why they're so expensive he went on about his software using less electricity(!?) and his boxes not needing updating. ANY box set up properly should self-update. They all run Kodi, and his ONLY run Kodi - no Netflix, games, Facebook, etc... I bought mine for $120 from another provider and it runs faster than his do.

He's also stupidly arrogant. I asked him why his boxes would never need fixing or updating and he basically said "because they're just better" - and when asked specific questions got frustrated and huffy.

Don't let your ignorance cost you money - use Google to compare boxes and prices. Don't buy a new box because he tells you yours will be outdated soon or won't run properly. My old box from 2 years ago needed some updating but I did it myself with the help of Google - or you can pay someone $10-$20 to do it in less than an hour and get months or years more out of your...

The customer service at UPR is second to none. I purchased 3 tv streaming boxes from UPR and its changed the way I view television. The sales guy came to my house , assessed my situation , hooked up all that I required and I immediately disconnected my high priced cable subscription. I am now saving $170 per month, and I could never go back to watching force fed cable television again. I can watch what I want , when I want , whenever I want. If I ever have a problem I can call any time of the day or night and I always get an answer and a solution to whatever problem I have with the system. I would recommend this system to any one considering purchasing a tv streaming box. Don't get fooled by cheap android boxes.
