New Hakka Place — Restaurant in Halton Hills

The food here is always delicious and well made. The chef is very good when it comes to requesting changes to the dish that you order. They always fulfill my requests each time. The customer service is outstanding also, if I order something and for example they have 2 out of 3 of the item, they would call me to tell me that there is only 2 left and if I would like the 2 and get a refund for the 3rd one or if I would like something else. Then they would give me the options that I can replace it with, and I would just select the one I like best. And on top of that when I receive my order, they would put 2 extras of what I selected with a little note 'sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for my cooperation and understanding. And I always appreciate these types of customer service. Because when you as customers are appreciated and respected, these businesses will continue to have my support 100%. Because customer service is very important to me in every business in the way they treat their customers. Without customers their business won't thrive, so every other business should be more like this by putting customers first. Plus, you always get your money's worth in your food portion. Go...

Extremely Horrible experience.. My husband & I have been to Hakka Place many time's before, however, my we have had a horrible experience when we ordered home delivery this 31st night. We ordered Chicken Lollipops, Hakka Noodles, Manchurian Fried Rice & Szchewan Chicken. When it arrived we gave a generous delivery tip as well as it was New Years eve, however, the Chilli Chicken was spoilt, it was smelling & tasted spoilt as well. When we called nobody received the call so we kept the entire portion in the fridge so we could return it along with the receipt. When I called & explained the entire situation the lady was quite nice on the phone & asked to get the Chilli Chicken & they would give a replacement free of charge. The Chilli Chicken cost around $11.95 When my husband took it to the restuarant she began to yell at him saying I told your wife while ordering she shouldn't order it as we make it differently. She was so rude & kept yelling that my husband just left it & walked away & let go of the $11.95 as well.. We will never be returning to that place again, It's a money making...

Ordered directly from their website at 6:55pm on a Tuesday. I ordered manchurian chicken, house fried rice, chicken chowmein and crispy beef. Simple enough right? My husband showed up at 7:30 to pick up and they told him 30 mins! There was no one in the store and no orders up for delivery. Husband came back in at 8 and they just ignored him. He finally got the food at 8:15 and asked what the delay was (we have kids who had to go to bed waiting for dinner), they offered no response except to ask if he wanted his receipt!!! 1.15 hrs for noodles, rice and chicken??? Absolutely ridiculous and the fact that they were not willing to rectify it is silly.

The food was meh the crispy beef was OVER FRIED and the darkest thing i had ever seen. It was so hard, we couldnt chew it. The manchurian chicken was swimming in gravy (we didnt ask for extra gravy). The noodles and rice were blah.

We have lived in gtown for 20 years and this is the 1st and last time we'll order from here. Better off driving to mississauga for tasty...
