We have been shopping at The Source since it was the Radio Shack (more than 30 years). Never had any issues with anything. Spent lots of money on tons of stuff including new Cell phone Bose speakers etc. and have also supported the local store in Haliburton. Yesterday I purchased a new set of cordless phones because the cell service in our area is so up and down. The phones are not going to work for us. I grabbed my receipt to return them today and see no refunds. I called the store and the guy I spoke to said new policy as of yesterday. I was not told there was a new policy when they took my $ yesterday. Apparently they have signs up but I feel because it's a NEW policy effective the day I shopped it should have been brought to my attention. My husband and I ( both senior citizens) bought a Samsung phone from the Linday mall location. There has been nothing but problems with this phone since we got it. We found the phone to be excessively complicated, and due to our lack of technical expertise, we got locked out of the phone This morning we drove from Coboconk to the Source in Lindsay to get some help. There were 6 or 7 sales staff standing around the almost empty store. The two fellows we dealt with were completely unsympathetic and were of no help, except to reinstall the SIM card back into my husbands old phone so that he would have something to use. This was done only after I asked, they did not suggest it. They were unfriendly, arrogant and the one guy who seemed to be the manager, was almost rude.
