So to start everything in this place is super expensive and finally when you get the products ordered, they are small and tiny. I was wondering if they were feeding kids!
I spent almost 80$ and the salmon sashimi was frozen in the middle, why?
Why is are the portions of SM3. Red Tuna Sashimi and SM2. Salmon Sashimi so small? For 7$ I can buy a 100g or 120g tuna at Loblaws which is almost 10x more sashimi than what you gave me. Even if the salmon is more expensive at Loblaws, it is still a lot more expensive to buy it from you guys than Loblaws!
The taste of salmon : why your salmon has no taste? Are you buying super cheap salmon and resell for 100 or 1000 times more to you customers? The salmon I used to buy at Loblaws taste a lot better than what I had yesterday.
Now let's talk about the SR1. Dynamite Roll , MR16. Salmon Roll and the SH1. Red Tuna Sushi, is there a reason for them to be so small? It looked like food for kids....
Your food can definitely not be called Japanese food. It is a edible food. I am spent so much money and I am so disappointed. Well, the level of "restaurant" making real good delicious food in the Lindsay is really low and disappointing. I will continue making my own Japanese food which is a lot...
Read moreI have not one bad thing to say about this place. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and extremely great with kids. They make great suggestions and I have tried different things I normally wouldn't and end up really enjoying what I've had.
For the quality of food and service you get their price is great. As for the complaint by another persons review of small rolls it's probably someone that is used to cheaper places that use fillers to make larger rolls like using to much rice or tempura bits to fatten the rolls instead of the right amount of everything to make the perfect bite of different flavors like you find at lucky sushi.
The only thing that may annoy people is the wait times can be a quite a bit longer than said and that's because it's a family run 2 person operation and busy times can get crazy they try their best to get it out in the time said but sometimes it can be longer and that's because they don't try and rush food out they try and make everything good. They are even great and have given me a free addition for having to wait longer than planned.
Sushi is great, their gyoza is some of the best around and they make a good milk tea and have tured me onto the...
Read moreThis is my second time ordering here. The sushi is exceptionally fresh. The rice is soft and the mango in the rolls I had today was also soft and fresh. (That’s not at all common for mango rolls)! They definitely put a lot of effort into choosing their ingredients. They were also very kind and helpful in working with my celiac disease. They modified my order and were happy to do so. They said more gluten free options are coming soon in their new menu. My boyfriend and I are so glad that we’re not sushi-deprived after relocating to this general area. The other options in Lindsay are not so great; with exception to one other location. The other spot I enjoy here is not economical. The prices are excellent here. My partner requires a lot of sushi to feel full lol so we think this is the perfect place for him. Anyways, I can’t say enough great things about this spot! It’s best for takeout as it’s in the mall; and that’s my preference for sushi anyways as it travels well and is a great dinner to bring home. We will be regulars here in no time. ;) thanks...
