We went for a matinee. We had reserved seating. Got to the cinema about 20-25 minutes before movie show time.
The place was not busy. Empty. We went to our reserved seats in theatre only to discover a dirty theatre and seats everywhere.
There was trash everywhere. Popcorn, popcorn containers, drink containers, people left their juice boxes, trash, pop cans, candy wrappers.
Some customers are lazy and should clean up after themselves, but management should provide a clean environment regardless for the next patrons.
Our seats were dirty. Trash in cup holders, popcorn containers at our seats. Drink containers. Trash. Popcorn in the seats.
I went to ask employees if someone was going to clean up the theatre. I thought maybe we were too early and they didn't have a chance yet.
But it didn't seem like anyone was going to clean if I didn't ask. It was only about 20 mins before the show started.
Two employees went to clean up. They cleaned a little. They filled up their broom buckets and left.
One employee swept the floor in front of our seats and then proceeded to use the dirty broom he just used on the floor to wipe off the popcorn off my seat. There was still popcorn in the seat cracks.
There is still lots of trash left and popcorn. Dirty cup holders. Looked like melted chocolate or something on my seat.
I'm just wondering if they have a cleaning schedule between showings? Do they care? Are you trying to cut costs?
Once our movie was finished, I saw the one employee come into the theatre with broom and bucket to clean, I guess.
They're not doing a great job if they do clean between some showings.
No wonder people stay home. Who wants to sit in dirty chairs and dirty surroundings and pay good money for that? Never mind overpriced concessions.
I took some pictures after they cleaned. Looks like they don't do a great job or clean in between every showing. Lots of trash under seating.
We probably won't be going back. People have home theaters these days. Where it's clean. No overpriced...
Read moreThe concession staff were very friendly & provided excellent service. Unfortunately it was after this point that myself and my family were disappointed. Prior to entering the theatre 6:05 ish I used the ladies room. When I entered the staff member was signing off on the bathroom schedule sheet but she didn’t actually clean anything as there was pee on the toilet seat of the first stall I entered. The second stall had toilet paper all over the floor and the middle sink had popcorn kernels in the sink. Then we went into the theatre - there was pop spilled all over the floor & our seats. My daughter went out and found a manager who brought in a mop & bucket but seemed frustrated with us, stating that they hadn’t come in to clean yet so of course it wasn’t clean. Thankfully the couple at end of our row told him that yes the cleaning crew had already been in. Not long after this the cleaning crew came in and cleaned our area but there were still old cups left behind the recliners & when my daughter raised her chair another cup of pop rolled out. In addition the reclining portion of my seat did not work. Afterwards I used the ladies room again & surprise - it still hadn’t been cleaned even though the sheet was signed off on twice more. Just very disappointing. I understand that the people who use the theatre need to clean up after themselves, which is what taught my own children, but the staff there needs training & to learn to take pride in their work or move along to a...
Read moreFood:5/16 I had a lot of problems with the food. I ordered nachos, a slushy, and popcorn. But they didn't offer straws long enough to enjoy the slushie properly. It was only popping out the cup around 15/16 of an inch. The nachos that cost me seven dollars were the worst I've ever had. For seven dollars, I could have gone to the grocery store, bought a whole bag of chips and a tub of cheese. The cheese tasted pretty bad for a movie theatre, and the salsa was downright horrendous. Don't get me started on the chips themselves; they were the worst part. They tasted stale, if anything else. The popcorn was also the worst I've ever had but was somewhat bearable since I was hungry. The profit margins for some of these things were also incredibly high for a medium-sized theatre, but I digress.
Cleanliness:16/16 I couldn't ask for a more clean theatre. The hallways were clean, the bathrooms were spotless, and the movie theatre was also clean.
Price Ticket:15/16 The prices for the tickets were pretty typical of a movie theatre, not too high, not too low. They have some excellent self-serve kiosks that you can use.
Movie Experience:15/16 I'm not sure how many theatre rooms have this, but the movie I saw came with luxury vinyl seats that also happened to recline. The quality of the film was good, and there were no hiccups with the audio, so very good. Overall Experience:13/16 A perfect theatre experience ruined by poor food control. But, overall, I...
