My sister and I decided on sushi 2 days before we went to get it. We showed up at about 20 to 9, they close at 930. Good timing, barely anyone there... We are seated, wait for the waitress then order an app and drinks, get the app and drinks and put our sushi order in. A lot of time goes by... Every other customer is gone, it's just us left. Workers keep walking halfway out from behind the counter, look at us, then walk back behind. One girl who decided chewing on chopsticks was appropriate to do while working wanders out, gives us a dirty look, then wanders back behind the counter. It's now 915, still no sushi. The hostess (I'm assuming) starts cleaning all the tables and sweeping... So I called her over and asked if they forgot about us. She goes to check and says "they're just finishing it now!" 3 seconds later it's coming out. So cold. The rolls that were supposed to be fully deep fried were cold as if they'd been forgotten. Last night I was ordering some sushi, some of the rolls came with salmon and imitation crab, I normally wouldn't eat seafood like that so I would normally sub for chicken, as I've done dining in the restaurant multiple times. However last night it seemed to be an issue. I was given a hard time about subbing out the seafood for chicken, very rude over the phone and when I went to pick it up. Bottom line is don't be lazy, when you're a food service industry you shouldn't have a problem with customizing a customers food. Especially right now you should be happen you are even allowed to be open and I myself am I small business but can't be open, so I'm trying to support small businesses, Niko sushi will be a business I will no longer support. Read moreThe last few times we ordered here it was disgusting. It’s as if they purposely use rotting food for those who order take out. Several empty, opened edamame shells. Two rolls we’re missing and we got two of someone else’s rolls instead. Drinks missing. Asked for rolls to be made with rice paper and that did not happen. I mean how much more could go wrong in ONE order??? And this has happened three consecutive times in the last two months. So definitely not ordering and not going in either because the service in person has been horrible as well.
