Thompson Square Shopping Plaza — Local services in Milton

I am glad this plaza is here as it can walk over. It has a convenience store, a great sandwich place (Mama Mila's), and some useful mobile shops such as CompuMobile. There are a lot of East Indian boutiques which has made this location quite a draw from outside Milton (I have heard). I love that these are live work units with housing above. Not sure how many are still functioning that way. I suspect most of the shopping units are now just rented out.

The parking situation...

Unfortunately the parking situation is not great. You have to call or email contact details posted on signs throughout the plaza to register your car - sort of archaic. There are more blind spots than not which makes for a pretty dangerous situation for pedestrians seeing as how most Milton drivers think they own the road and make up their own road rules (not the plazas fault). Lots of different stores which is great but the parking is a bit of hastle and the residents(I believe they are the residents of those townhomes/condos above and behind the stores) drive extremely fast in that parking lot which makes it very dangerous for pedestrian walking through the lot to the stores or even when backing out of the parking spots you have to be...
