I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Art's Hair Coiffure on Peel Street in Montreal, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The salon has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the team is incredibly professional and attentive.

A special thank you to Karima, my amazing stylist, who worked absolute magic on my hair! I adore and love her, she is truly a master of her craft. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and then exceeded all my expectations. My highlights are stunning, so beautifully blended, I couldn't be happier!

I would also like to thank her wonderful assistant Anna who is awesome.

This was by far the worst salon I have ever been to. I literally wish I could give zero stars. If you've never been before let me save you some time. When I first arrived they were very rude and extremely unprofessional. They then washed my hair with "shampoo" that literally smelled like public bathroom hand soap (and there was no label on the shampoo so it very well could have been). My hair was then cut by Sam, who cut my hair in under ten minutes with ZERO attention to detail. He did not give me the cut that I wanted at all, and then asked if I wanted my hair dried or if I wanted to leave with wet hair. I said that I wanted it dried, and another staff member dried my hair with a brush that had tons of other hair in it (gross) and with no heat protectant. They then tried to charge me me nearly double the price listed on the website because I asked to have it dried. The entire experience was extremely unpleasant and I would really warn those considering this salon to read all the reviews...

The worst experience I've had with any hairdresser ever, we booked this hairdresser for a wedding and had the huge misfortune of being given the hairdresser Angie. The minute she arrived she was in a terrible mood and presented with an extreme attitude to the point where the makeup artists even said how she felt uncomfortable around Angie because of her terrible attitude. All of that aside she completed the brides hair along with 1 bridesmaid and the mother in laws hair, even though it was nothing remotely close to what they asked for and needed to be redone. She then walked out of the venue stating she refused to stay because the road was rocky and too rough. Terrible experience and quite frankly terrible hairdresser. Not only would I never book with Angie ever again I would strongly recommend anyone to never book with her I as well as the wedding coordinator had never seen such unprofessionalism.
