Ahi tuna tacos so recommended! Southern fried chicken salad, huge portion and very tasty sauce. Cajun salmon, comes with the best rice i ever had, the pobano rice is just so good you must try. La porchetta burger for roasted meat and onion marmalade lovers. Dinerbar club if you like chicken, very good portion. Texas toast steak sandwich, very good simply. Roscoe’s house of chicken and waffle, chicken is tasty but not the kind of combination that satisfies you. Pain perdu was kinda overfried so it was disappointing it wasn’t tender on the inside, also too much cinnamon. One cocktail certainly recommend is MIAMI VICE ! They have very nice cocktails we saw that when we were first seated at the bar, short story here: Visited without reservation in a group of 6. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks while trying to find a table, one of the hostesses was insisting that we can’t get a table even after another table left when we asked to get it for us she still said “No surely its reserved” as if she didn’t even want to try and find us a table. No problem it’s our first time. While waiting for food we were trying with the manager and waitresses, until the hostess approached us saying there will be a table available in a bit. So we got our drinks transported and finally had our seats on a table. I totally understand since we came walk in, but the feeling that the waitress didn’t even want to try and find us a table, as if she didn’t like us I mean at least that’s what she showed. She looked to have a managerial role as well, she wasn’t in black uniform like others. Overall totally worth every penny if you plan your visit and call for reservation beforehand. Your first look at the menu might make you think its overpriced, but once you get the food and the good service at the table you understand its totally worth it.

Very disappointing dinner at Deville Dinebar. Tuna crudo appetizer was really tuna tartar with a few tuna slices on top and ridiculously spicy of which we were not warned. Oysters were excellent. Bread was OK but very oily. While appetizers came out quickly, main courses took over 50 minutes. The lobster roll was tiny and had celery, which we hate and which was not at all listed on the menu along with the other ingredients. Branzino was OK, slightly overcooked, but it took so long to come out, we weren't hungry anymore. The restaurant is long and narrow, with very little room in the isles (people and servers kept bumping into my elbow). Music is way too loud for a nice dinner and the place sounds more like a dance club than restaurant. We were sat at a table on the second floor near the server's station and they were literally throwing dirty plates and utensils in the washing trays so loudly and with a complete lack of care that it was so disturbing to all the people around that it made us jump multiple times until we eventually changed our table. Did not bother with dessert as we were afraid it would take another hour. Our waiter was very nice, but could not do much about all these issues.

The last couple of times i went there was in the evening and had a good experience. So we wanted to try their brunch today. Long story short, i didn’t like my plate at all (i took the steak chimichurri). I tried to force to eat it but i couldn’t finish it. The 2 stars are for the waitress who was amazing and very kind and friendly. 1st the chimichurri didn’t look like what is supposed to be (see picture), and didn’t taste good. 2nd the steak had a weird taste with zero flavour. My friend took the exact same plate and hers was tasty and tasted very different from mine. So we didn’t know what happened. We made the remark to the staff and the owner came in a VERY aggressive way trying to explain that it’s “impossible” that the meat cannot taste good and tried to argue with us without even saying sorry once. We had to cut it short. Since we are the customers who ate the plate we know what we’re talking about. It’s very unfortunate that an owner of a restaurant like this doesn’t have any sense of customer service, things like this in restaurants happen and it’s important to take the critics. But the rest of the staff was understanding and kind.

So pleased we entered. Deville Dinerbar was exceptional. Firstly, the place was packed last Friday night. The lovely hostess told us that they were completely booked and the we would have needed a reservation. We told her that we would be fine with a seat at the bar, to which she replied that it was also all booked but that she would check with the manager to see if they could squeeze us in. The manager came right away with a smile and great energy, he told us that there was no problem and to enjoy our selves and showed us our seats. The place was really nice and excellent ambience throughout. I did choose the chicken parmigiana sandwich and my friend took the DeVille burger. Everything was great and piping hot. It came with delicious julienne fries, Gorden Brown and super crispy. Paul at the bar was phenomenal. Skilled, knowledgable, fast and a great guy all around. He recommended us a really great tequila and didn't try to upsale us. It was smooth and delicious. All around experience was awesome and I will be back when I have the opportunity.

My boyfriend and I came to Montreal to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and went here on our last day in town on Sept 1. Staff were amazing, food was amazing and service was amazing. We ordered calamari and lettuce bulgogi tacos which I believe which was a korean-mexican fusion dish to start which were bomb. We then both grabbed a burger each and asked for bone marrow on the side because we had never tried it before. I got the fat cat burger and it was both our favourite burger of the two (forgot the other one). Would not recommend the marrow how we got it but on the steak as the menu has it would definitely be amazing. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She made sure to check up on us every little bit and would check in to make sure our experience was as amazing as it should be. I unfortunately forgot her name but thank you so much!! :) We would definitely recommend this to friends visiting Montreal and would go back again.

I had a fantastic time at Deville restaurant. The restaurant has a modern and elegant design, with comfortable seating and a spacious dining area. The music was relaxing and enjoyable, and it added to the ambiance. I ordered the salmon with vegetables, and it was one of the best dishes I ever had. The salmon was fresh and moist, and the vegetables were crisp and tasty. The portion was generous and satisfying. We also ordered the spaghetti and lobster, and we were also very impressed. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the lobster was succulent and flavourful. The burger was good but small portion. The service was on time and professional, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They checked on us regularly and refilled our drinks. The price was fair for the quality and quantity of food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood and pasta.
