I don't know if the people who rate this supermarket 5 stars are employees or family members of this store, but it is far from a 5 star grocery store. It's always been our #1 store for fresh meat and produce but ever since a few years ago, we are throwing out tons of food that rots after only a few days. We were there just yesterday and bought some nectarines which I served after a family dinner this evening. The nectarines were completely rotten on the inside even though they looked good on the outside. Same thing with other fruits, especially the berries. We also noticed that the corn on the cob they were selling was very old as well as many other fruits and vegetables. Please check expiry dates on everything!! I would say that we have spent tens of thousands of dollars, if not hundreds of thousands over the years at this grocery store, though we now have no choice but to start going elsewhere. The prices are really high and if we have to throw out most of the food, then we are basically just throwing out our hard earned money. What happened to...

They really need to manage their employees properly. I have never in my life witnessed the disrespect towards their customers. My husband and I were very frequent customers at the Bistro. We were told by the cook Jonathan that the food wouldn’t be ready before 11:30 and to go to McDonald’s. Most recently one of the girls serving went off on me because I told her she needed to wash her hands after taking out the garbage and sweeping where the food was being served. I complained to the owner When we left to go to our car she followed us with a cigarette in her mouth, blowing smoke in our car and continued arguing with us.

We never had this problem when the older chef was there and the service was excellent. Always on time and girl serving us was very polite.

It’s really too bad. I hope they realize that they lost good customers and more will follow.
