Ordered with my mobile Tim Hortons app, the cashier didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for my mobile order and the person who came to help her told me that she was going to process my order, but the next time they won't since they have orders from the management to refuse mobile orders because of past incidents. I was disappointed with that response, why have posters in the store promoting us to use the app only for us to be told that they don't accept mobile orders? If mobile ordering is a hassle for them, the management should've asked Tim Hortons head office to be excluded from the mobile app promotion instead of misleading the customer. I don't blame the staff since they were just following orders, but I really do hope the management corrects this, it gives me an impression that they do not follow Tim Hortons policies and don't care for them either. If this situation gets corrected, I will change my grading, but in the meantime, if everything remains the same, I will definitely not step my foot in this restaurant. Some people will probably think that this is a first world problem, but I don't care for the app or the free coffee that comes from ordering through the app, I just find it disappointing that they have in-store promotion about an app service, only to be told in person that they don't actually offer it. I have been going to this Tim for a few years now since it's in my area, the morning staff is usually friendly but there's often lots of mistakes with my orders. This morning I went and ordered my food as usual, when I got home I tried to take a bite and was surprised everything was iced cold. All the vegies were still frozen... I ordered a BTL with both meat and had to put it in the garbage... A waste of money... Please do better
UPDATE: I am not deleting the previous review since its a true statement of my visit on that day, however, I am very happy and satisfied with the way the situation was handled. Tim Horton's reached out to me on the same day that I posted the review and I was able to get in touch with the manager of that branch who promised to make it up to me. This morning I went and met with him, he is very friendly and professional, he replaced my BLT and I ordered a hashbrown and Iced cup to pair my BLT with. The morning staff was friendly, as usual. I think that it's fair to be honest on our reviews, it's not just about being critical of companies just Because we want to complain, we gotta be truthful and companies have to be willing to correct their mistakes. In this particular case, I think Tim Horton's did an Amazing job at handling this particular situation, I am very satisfied and will, of course, continue to visit...
