I like doing my nails here because these ladies have a lot of experience and my nails are always well done. I receive many compliments on my nails after each manicure. I go there for shellac manicures and it usually lasts for at least 4 weeks if not more. However, I am unsure if the salon have changed their shellac brand or the top coat because it chipped on 3 nails one week after I have my nails done, and this is something that has never happened before in the last 5 years. That was disappointing☹️. I could not believe it! I do not wash dishes or keep my hands in water a lot to say that this was the cause of the chipping. This colour chipping happened the last two times I did my manicure there. I appreciate the quality of the work these ladies are doing and I want to go back to do my nails there, but I hope that they will change the shellac brand they are currently using or whatever impedes the manicure to last. Such a terrible manicure was the first time in my life. Cut off all the nails with nippers at the root. When removing the gel from the nails, the top layer of the nails was also removed. Now my nails hurt, wild sensitivity. The master does not own manicure techniques. I wanted to make powder technologies. The choice of colors for powder manicure is huge. At the recommendation of a friend I tried this salon the other day, and first off, I never review hair or nail salons, but I was so impressed by Salon Cité Westmount, I felt it would be a disservice to them if I didn't. Anna did my gels and was so meticulous, patient and inclusive when doing them. She kept asking if I liked them, was there anything I would like her to change. I couldn't decide between 3 colours so she did a one nail test of each color. It is a small salon which I like, the atmosphere and vibe was warm and relaxing. I can't wait for my nails to grow out so I can return for a fill-in....
