Matej and Karolina were amazing hosts: the camper truck was in immaculate condition and clearly received a lot of love, thought and upkeep when not out on the road. We took out one of their rigs during the colder October month and very much enjoyed camping around beautiful Vancouver Island both off grid and connected. The heating in the camper worked very well, as did the battery, kitchen, newly installed isolation pads by the roof windows, fridge and everything else.Matej was very engaged and helpful. He replied almost instantly to any questions we had and pro-actively checked the weather for parts of our trip which resulted in great overall advice and engagement. We felt very privileged and well looked after. They were also very kind to offer flexible with pick up and drop off times due to the low season.Such great enthusiasm for camping by hosts Matej and Karolina, it’s evident they take great joy and pride in sharing their love for the outdoors and Vancouver Island. We spent 40 days in Canada with a pickup and Lance trailer from Camperland RV Nanaimo – and it was the best time we could have ever imagined!

The camper was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and even more: kitchen with all utensils, fridge with freezer, plenty of storage, toilet, shower, very comfortable bed, camping chairs and many extras. It was the perfect size for two people for a 40-day trip, and we truly felt like locals.

The pickup was very easy to drive and reliable throughout the whole journey. Check-in and check-out were quick and relaxed, and all the important details were explained clearly.

A big highlight was Matej – he was always available, replied within minutes, and provided us with many helpful tips about the camper, the car, and our travels in general. That gave us a really good feeling and made the experience even more special.

My mom and I rented a truck camper over Outdoorsy. Matej and his family were very friendly and helpful with everything. And I mean everything. We started with the 2003 GMC truck camper which was rustic but very comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately the heater was making problems after a couple of days and wasn’t working reliably. We had video call with Matej and tried to troubleshoot. As it was weekend already (nearby mechanics closed) and we were heading to the Rockies with cold nights, Matej decided immediately to bring us his other truck camper (Silverado) in exchange all the way up to Revelstoke. This action demonstrated how much they care about their guests having a good time.
