Stopped by for a quick takeout lunch as it's near home.
I got the slapdown sandwich (like a grilled cheese, but with cheese pierogies and bacon and onions) and a side of coleslaw and a few meat (pork and beef) pierogies.
The sandwich was pretty good, very filling, though the bread was a bit greasy (yes, it's a grilled cheese, I know that, but it felt like there was a little too much.)
The pierogies were fine but not super flavourful or unique. They were a bit overdone so I got more "burned" flavour than id like.

After a heavy lifting day at the gym on a cheat day, I was looking for something quick and filling with lots of carbs so I researched this place is heard about. D dropped in.
Their Slapdown sandwich, a perogie-stuffed grilled cheese monstrosity, is absolutely loaded with flavour as is the generous serving of slaw it's served with. You can add four extra perogies to any plate for a few bucks extra and their borscht is next level.
The owner is a sweet older Polish lady with a great attitude and a beaming smile.
All in all it was one of the easiest five stars...
